That TVInsider article says "Emily O’Brien will be back as Gwen on March 10, 2025."

That's an error, I believe.

SOD said:  "Digest has learned that she’ll actually be bringing both of her characters back in 2025. Theresa will be seen in March; and then in July, get ready to welcome Gwen back to town."

I can only assume Emily O'Brien is like Galen Gering at this point - someone they just really like on a personal level and probably easy to work with. I don't really see a big storyline purpose of having Gwen back at this point, especially since they killed off Abby.

Well, just crap. Recasting Rachel?!! I just got through posting that she was soap gold!!! She does not to be made older, at least not yet. I get so sick & tired of them pulling out those old SORASING virtual aging hormones!!! Rachel works as a character & the actress is so good just as she is.

And, then, we're going to have to put up with first Theresa & after that, with Gwen RiceChex. There's not even any Dimitri & she'd better kick Leo to the curb, that is if the character continues to exist.

Sometimes I hate spoilers. I mean it's not the spoilers' fault. As was once said, they're just written that way.

from TVinsider:  "previews Drucker. <snip> and of course, small doses of humor Leo [Stark, Greg Rikaart], Hattie [Adams, Deidre Hall] and Bonnie [Lockhart, Judi Evans], Susan [Banks, Stacy Haiduk] and Vivian [Alamain, Louise Sorel] always deliver."

Ack!
Leo, Hattie, Bonnie, and Susan are not funny.
Vivian should not be written as funny.

Oh wow! He looks good and resemblance RH more now than back in the day.

RH also has gone all white. He has for some time now.

This stuff is still Ron's mess of stories. I flove Vivian and agree with you.

    • Well, I'm glad to know Devane and I are on the same wavelength, lol.  But seriously.  I don't believe there's any other word to describe the machinations that the producers constructed in the name of keeping Greg and Paige apart.  Greg and Paige made Sam and Diane look mature by comparison! Which would have been just as well, since a character like Greg Sumner didn't really belong in the '90's, as the storyline with the task force proved only too well.  If KL had returned for another season, it would've needed a MASSIVE overhaul, including ditching Greg, Paige, Claudia and Anne.  Mack and Karen would've needed to be there for the sake of continuity; and maybe some mileage could've been gained from exploring Gary's new life as a widowed single father.  (I still would've loved to bring back Julie Harris and have Lilimae help Gary take care of the twins).  Otherwise, it would've been a new era for KL, one without The Sumner Group, or stories like Wolfbridge and Empire Valley.

    • Didn't she know when she involved him in her scheme, before the character was introduced? I thought she tracked down Janice's son and poisoned his mind against Rachel in order to get him on board.  It's a bit confusing because in the summer of 1988 we get a lot of Drew Marsten (whom I had forgotten was Nicole's ex) and mentions of a mysterious Countess and also Reginald working to undermine Cory. Drew disappears around the same time Evan arrives, and gradually we get the reveals that he is in cahoots with Iris, Janice's son, etc.
    • I apply totally different standards. For Felicia & anyone else in Bay City it's reel as opposed to out here in the universe where it's real.
    • And that is why western civilization is screwed up with organized religion. but thats for another board.

    • Seeing T.R. give Danny a massage made me wonder if Jane Krakowski was considered for One Life to Live's Tina recast in 1990. At that point, Jane was in Broadway's Grand Hotel and probably not interested in coming back to daytime (plus, at 21, she would have been rather young for the role), but it still felt like a what could have been moment.
    • I wonder why CBS seems intent on keeping JG. I've never been able to understand why JG thinks viewers care about all of these random companies and business stories.
