I assume all the material currently airing was instrumental in Ron's firing so most not worth watching except Julie's story unless Ron ruins that too. I'll watch consistently starting in April when PaulaJean material starts to air but I don't hold out too much hope for massive improvements.  The shoe string budget plus Corday's refusal to fire incompetent friends on staff (Richard Bloore/costume designer; Tom Early/set designer to name two or put Josh Taylor in retirement with all due respect who should have never been cast as Roman and is way passed prime to ask audience to sit through another year of mumbling).  

 

I'm afraid it's going to be a "Gotcha!" and Clyde will be revealed alive tomorrow. Katarina doesn't look very capable holding that handgun. What if she missed him, by about a mile?

We saw blood around a wound to his chest. That doesn't necessarily mean "dead dead" in Ron's world, of course.

Leo & Javi have great chemistry! Much better than the forced chem between Javi & Kerry with their stupid dialogue. Barf.

It's crazy how we've lost Roman #1 and Roman #2 within months of each other, but you just know Josh Taylor is going to live to see 108.

I wonder how long Caterina will last in Salem?  Her turn from saying Clyde is her friend to shooting him was awfully quick.  Also, how different does Cat look that Felicity could tell it was her, but her Mother was unsure?  And is Mark ever getting out of jail?  How are Aaron and Felicity paying the bills?

Today was pretty exciting, Leo aside.  It is odd that Gabi didn't mention her adventure to her brother or cousin.  She's got a lot of responsibilities, and she needs some coverage whilst off chasing bad guys. 

Finally, when Clyde said to Chad, “you're not going to like this”, can we assume that is verification that for now Abigail is dead/dead.

I was trying to figure out who Marlena could possibly talking to today on the phone.  I wonder if it was a real life shout out to a friend or something.

Well, she said that couldn't believe the person's dad was 90, so that ruled out John, whose father is famously closer to 100.  Shane doesn't have a father.  Liz and Marie's dads are dead.  And, that's most of her recent out-of-town correspondences.  So, perhaps it was just meaningless?

I'm very curious about Caterina.  That move when she disarmed Cat was very sly.  So, I wonder if she has led a double life?  Most suburban mothers of four that I know aren't as cunning (not to be dismissive of suburban moms, but the majority haven't had training in firearms and subversive tactics).  Also, how long were the Greene's living in Salem that John never ran into her?

Marlena said "John gives his love as well" so that ruled him out immediately.  Other than that I have no idea.  I thought Liz for a hot minute because I momentarily forgot Kellam was dead and also raped Marlena lol.    I really am assuming Deidre had a friend that's dad was turning 90 and just snuck that line in.

Meanwhile, has Aaron said that they just moved to Salem?  Or has Caterina been living under John's (and maybe even Konstantin's) nose this whole time?

That seems to be a plothole that has not been resolved.
