Parts of this workout are not my favorite, but I can appreciate that the more I do these exercises the better I get at them. I’ve learned to enjoy starting my day with something that physically challenges me and is also an emotional cleanse of sorts. It feels good to prioritize myself…and have biceps. (They’re small, but they are there.) Oh, and I edited out the parts where I’m talking [!@#$%^&*]. That made this video a whopping 48 seconds.

Its so great to see Kirsten taking good care of herself and us as viewers being able to reap the benefits of her increased confidence level on screen

I rewatched the last two weeks of episodes because I wanted to see Sam’s funeral again before Hulu purges them, then ended up in the classic GH thread and watched the beginning of Stone’s Thanksgiving death right after. The contrast in tone and overall feel was so stark it legit left me aghast.

This show is so cold and sterile now in comparison. Even in its most depressing story era the episodes had a warmth, silliness and heart that felt like a big comforting hug from your fam.

The only way to describe the current day vibe is like being in an actual hospital with harsh lighting, loud background “music” and frantic edit pacing that makes you unable to fully immerse and breathe for scenes. I wish someone upstairs at ABC would mandate a full aesthetic refresh because they need it badly.

Still looking forward to Lulu and Rocco tomorrow

The Frank Valentini way - it’s been like that since the end of his OLTL tenure and almost immediately when he came over to GH. The only way they’re getting an aesthetical makeover is if he and the people he brought along with him are gone. GH still has a great variety of sets, but that’s just about the only thing the show has going for it under Valentini’s vapid and soulless production.

Yeah, Kristen Storms and the Comeback of Maxie...first under PM's writing and how it's been maintained through the writing change...has been a year highlight for me as well.

My thoughts for the beginning of the month:

-I am tired of Amanda Setton and want Brook Lynn recast.

-Olivia is the next character who should be exited. She and Lois are redundant.

-Rick Hearst should be on contract. Ric has had a great return.

-I don't miss Scott and don't care if he is ever brought back.

-Now that Robert has left, I think that Laura should appoint her brother Martin as the DA.

She looks good. Ive commented on how bad she looked a few years ago and was shocked to see she not only has lost alot of weight but her styling has improved on the show as well. She looks alot healthier which is the important part. Good for her on her positive progress. Hope she is happy

Im delayed in my viewinand just saw Sam's funeral on Hulu. Still upset she is gone but thought they did well especially with the flashbacks. Surprised they had her and Sonny as a couple as in hte past, they tried to forget that that happened.

What was the deal with Alexis bullying her into inducing her labor early? I forgot that story. Im guessing something about Kristina being sick?

So they really trying to insinuate that Liz killed Sam accidentally? Wow. That was a twist I was not expecting.

I hate the Quartermaine mansion set. The decor and colors are gaudy and not giving the modern vibe it feels they failed at attempting to get

I'm simply stunned. I swear I did NOT see that coming. I mean, it looks like they are breaking up Tolly. They've been a stable couple for 12 years, I think, which is a long time on this show. And, it is absolutely bizarro world that it means Kristina's seemingly crazy ranting that they might break up was ... right.

NuLulu & Rocco totally delivered the goods! What a day to be a GH fan!

Lulu and Rocco’s reunion did not disappoint. Great work from Alexa Havins and Finn Carr you’d think they’d been working together for years. The chemistry between DZ and AH wasn’t as strong to me at first because he seemed to play Dante kind of cold. I did enjoy them once Lulu started bantering with him over her stubbornness and Alexa played the heartbreak over whoever the hell Dustin was very well, same with the confusion as Dante started slowly catching her up on Cyrus and how she ended up comatose. I felt so bad for Danny lurking outside the room, poor kid.

Wow Molly and TJ really had it out, kudos to Tahj Bellows and Kristin Vaganos they did excellent work. I’m glad they both finally stopped avoiding each other and admitted where they stand on everything including trying for another baby. That last shot with the two collapsing and crying on different sides of the door was really good. The characters being together for 12 years is kind of crazy considering their ages so I’m not mad if this is a real split for them.

Ric and Alexis going at it at the courthouse was also

I’m firmly team Ric here, Alexis has babied Kristina for too long at the expense of Molly

Drew trying to move Scout to DC before allowing Jason to live with them at the Q mansion was nasty work and I’m glad Carly got on both their heads for not making the kids first priority by feuding like this. That said I need the feud to continue for entertainment purposes

The Laura and Lucky scenes didn’t do much for me though I’m glad she knows Lulu’s awake and that Cyrus has been creeping. The stuff with Sonny and Kristina was also background noise

@Cheap21 the Sam and Alexis fight was from when Kristina needed a transplant and it was first revealed to Sonny he was her father. Alexis yelled at Sam because she wanted her to induce her labor and the stress caused her to do it anyway and the baby ended up dying. I had forgotten how great those scenes were til I saw the flashback. Agreed on the Q mansion set being bland looking as if they stole a room from the Ikea store

Me too. Also old money rich people don’t decorate their houses this way. Nothing looks remotely traditional, or even like the new style but luxury. It doesn’t look rich at all. And after a couple of months they decided to add that ugly wallpaper which made things worse to me.

    • The last few episodes have been good; the acting, the emotions. It's nice to see that GH can still do classic soap opera. I do wish that they would respect their long term audience more and do it without all the silly rewrites though. And where do they go from here? I'm a bit pessimistic and fully expect the show to go back to the drama-less, boring mess it usually is. I'm giving it a month, tops.

    • I can see why the Sam/Amanda story went downhill so fast. Thomas Gibson was a terrible replacement. I don't remember the circumstances of RKK quitting  (if his contract was over or if the departure was more acrimonious), but Gibson just sucks the energy out of every scene. He has no chemistry with anyone.
