November 14, 20241 yr Member Hopefully their stays will be short and those 2 cartoon villains can be written off for good.
November 14, 20241 yr Member I firmly believe Sharon is being drugged somehow. That would be far better than a *brain tumor* - it would absolutely make sense. Plus with all the new types of G. H. B. that are out there, it's both plausible and realistic. Though I will miss LA - the Sharon/Cameron scenes really are entertaining. And it would be better than Daisy being the killer. Daisy coming back into Daniel and Lucy's life would provide plenty of drama. Of course, Lucy has no idea about the circumstances of her conception. I wasn't really watching much at that time, but I had no idea that Billy + Victoria adopted Lucy at some point! There's a lot of story to mine and with MG at the center, you know it's going to watchable.

Moreso after Mariah revealed that Sharon has been taking her meds. It was the only thing that could make sense. So I'm assuming these two are behind it and I would like to see how and hope the reveal makes sense. I would love it if it was Daisy. And it makes sense as well. Heck, I'm surprised Sheila hasn't come looking for her other grandchild yet. And before she left, Daisy was dragging Phyllis a few times which was a bonus.
November 14, 20241 yr Member I still can't believe they killed Heather off to begin with, but this is kinda confusing. Daisy would've made sense, but Jordan and Ian Ward? Ian Ward would've made more sense in a Nikki/Dylan/Paul story, but with none of them here? And if Jordan wanted to torment the Newman's, why would she pick Sharon and Heather as her vessel to do that? It doesn't make any sense.

Paul has been in major frontburner storylines including his divorce from Cricket, losing his daughter, and the aftermath of his heart attack! I totally agree with you btw. He's gotten more action off the show than his last few years on screen. But this is what Josh Grittith does, he loves off screen stuff. It reminds me of finally remembering Keemo only to kill him off screen. Such wastes of history.

Doug Davidson was fired and said he wouldn't come back if asked. So, not much they can do regarding Paul but offscreen stuff.

As far as I know DD was made recurring, which he agreed to and worked on that basis. When a few months went by and he was not scheduled, he spoke out and things soured. Y&R asked him back but he refused.

Davidson wasn't fired: he was demoted, and he took it personal, and acts/acted like a big baby about it. And per his own admission: he was asked back, several times, and refused return.

I understand Doug isn't coming back, but why would you kill off a core characters daughter if you can't bring her parents back? Why bring back Ian Ward but Paul and Dylan aren't around? It's bad writing. Killing Heather is a waste of a legacy character who had potential and a bad story all around.
