Members DRW50
Port Charles was a show which often veered between generic and irritating when I watched, but a number of performers lifted the day-to-day material, and Nicholas Pryor was one of the best. He and Jon Lindstrom made me care about all the convoluted backstory they shared, and Nicholas made Victor sympathetic. Yet there were some funny moments too, along with the angst. Even if Victor ceased to exist long ago (I assume he had died), I'm glad Nicholas and Jon stayed in touch.

Members applcin
He was such a familiar face throughout film and tv but I especially loved him as the eccentric Victor on Port Charles. I'm curious, as I haven't watched GH for over 20 years, how often/long did he show up there after PC's cancellation?
Members Soapsuds
I remember him from Dallas. I don't remember seeing him on Dynasty or Falcon Crest. He was also on episodes of MSW with Angela Lansbury.

Members applcin
I didn't think he did but some articles on his death are referencing GH so it made me wonder.
Members DRW50
The GH credits I saw were from 1997 to help set up the move to PC, but others may know more.
Members applcin
Thanks! It's been so long I forgot that his character didn't originate on PC where I mostly identified him.

Members applcin
He really was one of those great, dependable character actors that was good in any medium and not niched...film, soaps, prime time, etc. Very enjoyable to watch. Actually, John Noble's character on Fringe, Walter Bishop, reminded me a lot of Victor Collins. Edited October 12, 2024 by applcin
