I loved this episode too. I think something happens and Heather ends up staying in town. Holly is the one that I want to leave and never come back.

Nah I bet Heather is out. No other reason for Steve to visit.

I think that Sam is murdered while Heather is present at the hospital. She becomes one of the suspects and is not allowed to leave town. She then ends up living with Liz or Laura.

I think it was a weird choice for the show to end on Laura and Heather today, when seconds before, we saw Cody and Sasha leading into an explosive conversation.

So GH is really going with Sasha being Holly and Robert's long lost kid? Okay then... thanks for ruining Robert, Holly and Sasha, Frank! I honestly don't know why they went this route when Ethan was right there and actually would've made a lot more sense. This feels like a last ditch effort to make Sasha relevant and it's bombing really bad. I actually find it hilarious that a lot of people are crying and gnashing their teeth on Twitter/X about Sasha/Cody possibly imploding, as if they are somehow this great couple when they have never been particularly interesting together. Part of me is still hoping that Cody gets de-Scorpioed somehow so that Mac won't be saddled with him anymore and he and Sasha can finally ride off into the sunset. Or maybe Sasha can get killed as a result of Sidwell getting revenge on Holly and I would be fine with that too.

It’s because it was a romance. When you look at the show right now, there are not any couples besides them falling in love. They may be wasted airtime to some (including me), but I get why people wanted to watch their story unfold.

Romance is baked into the DNA of soap operas, and it’s had a major resurgence in other media too (books, streaming, manga). I don’t understand why these shows are not embracing what is popular and they used to do well.

You're absolutely right. It's unreal how little romance there is on this show. It's barren. Frigid kisses every few weeks from Chase and Brook Lynn ain't it.

You forgot anytime there’s bad news Joss and Dex have sex.

I’ve thought Scott Reeves has looked terrible and Sun damaged since he was last on the show tbh.

He did. I know he's almost 60 and is mostly retired but it's jarring seeing that he looks older than Alley Mills. I wish him well outside of the industry, but they should have brought in another actor as Steven Lars. Steven Lars should have been a central character.

There was also some development in the relationship, unlike couples like Dex/Joss where viewers are supposed to love them just because he's a piece of ass and she's Carly Jr.

If I was invested in their relationship I'd be bewildered and mad at a completely random cousin reveal. I still think this is all going to be revealed as a lie, but if so, they should have made that clear from the start.
