Violet may know have been an interesting character, and annoying at times, but, mark my words, Jophielle Love will have a very bright future.  Her natural ability to do emotional scenes at such a young age is going to take her far in this business.  I can see her only getting better as she gets older.  I also can see her having a shot in the music industry.  She's only 10 years old and already has the ambition to write her own music.  I think that's impressive.   I plan to quote this message in the "Where are they now?" thread when her star gets big in the future.  LOL

And the question still remains for me- why doesn’t Trina have any kind of story?

It's coming apparently.

And rightfully so.

I may not like the writing, but that has very little to do with the actress. She does what she's given. And I'm sure she will have a bright future.

Although I'm not holding my breath waiting for the girl who played Charlotte to become the next Sabrina Carpenter. 😎😉

Australians! You're getting General Hospital!

Almost in time to see Sasha discover her newfound Australian heritage lol

I wonder how long it will last though, I don't think Australia ever embraced GH the way it did Days, B&B or even Y&R.

Even during the peak Scorpio years the show was about 5 years behind and then dropped in 1989 (to be picked up again the following year having skipped most of the late 80s and leaving some viewers wondering what happened to characters like Holly and Jake!)

I am all for Jophielle Love becoming a star so she never returns to GH as Violet.  Yesterday was the day I have been dreaming about for years!  Bye Violet!  Good luck in Seattle!

Reception at the announcement seems to be positive, so I'm hoping it'll be a good move for the soap and its Australian fans.

I think that Ric and Ava have better chemistry than Nik and Ava ever had.

I applaud Heather’s release! This will lead to great drama. Esme is winning!

Sonny has finally found his place on the show.

LOL  I also had to laugh at Sonny's hair on today's show. Are they using shoe polish to get it that black?

Nicholas Alexander Chavez had a lot of really nice things to say about his experience at General Hospital.

As I’ve mentioned I’ve only been back since May so Violet has never annoyed me. I thought all of the scenes with her departure were really well done by all and felt real. That little actress is pretty good at heavy stuff at her age.

As someone else mentioned the Sam/Lulu stuff would work so much better for me if I didn’t know the BTS aspects. As it is I just watch every scene and count them as the final ones Sam is having with everyone. Those Drew and Jason scenes in particular.

I think more Holly and Robert flashbacks might help this story more. I enjoyed the brief 5 second one but as is most of their history seems to have occurred before I was born.

Have to agree. I lived through the Holly/Robert stuff, and they really were magical. More flashbacks would have improved this story immensely.
