Jane E is a master but they keep making the same play over and over again. Tracy is overbearingly mean the first half of an episode and then someone tells her off and she reveals what’s really bothering her. It was interesting the first few times we saw this set up but now I’m bored tbh and that goes for all of the Quartermaine’s.

I hate that the Chillow fans have gotten their way and zapped all of the heat out of the Drew/Willow/Michael story so now Ned has to play the bad guy.

Cody and Sasha continue to be as entertaining as watching paint dry and the only interest I have in this Violet nonsense is Finn coming back and picking his brat up so we never have to see her again.

Seeing Martin and Cyrus again just gives me the old ick CVE’s last regime provoked whenever I’d try to tune in. I guess I’ll take Laura running around with them instead of Heather Webber though.

Everything with Sam is just awkward to watch knowing where everything is likely headed

Isaiah and Elizabeth were probably the only scenes I enjoyed today but even those weren’t all that interesting

I wonder if Chad and Willow fans really have any say or if it's just the type of story Frank would have always been averse to...or maybe Korte/CVE. They seem reluctant to write nuanced storylines. Or are just incapable.

Can you imagine telling someone 30-35 years ago that Jeff Kober, Michael E Knight and Genie Francis would be playing siblings, and no one would give a [!@#$%^&*].

(or do people enjoy Laura with them? I am not a Laura fan so I have no idea)

Damn, this writing team really, really hates Ned lol

I’m still anticipating #Drillow though

Btw, this PI with the dog is totally unnecessary. She almost feels like a Ron Carlivati character.

Or both.

If people had to choose, I feel they would pick Martin over Cyrus. But overall, NO.

I don't find her unnecessary for the current plot. But she is giving that 'wacka wacka' humor these writers like to use versus more nuanced writing.

I hate this cookie-cutter, one note writing for Tracy. It makes my teeth itch.

Same.

One thing this show is going to do over and over again is let Sonny get away with his crimes again. We finally had him about to do the right thing, but no why would cold blooded murderer ever pay for anything. And then the smugness. Just ick and not fun writing at all. But I guess someone out there enjoys this.

Loved the brief Ric and Liz scene of course. Even when she’s mad at him, the chemistry is there. Also enjoyed Ric with Curtis. Ric just belongs on the canvas.

Brad making Portia squirm was amusing even if she hasn’t annoyed me being rude to him like others here. It was a smart play by him.

One thing the new writers are doing well is the use of Liz. It feels like she’s on almost every day and I never tire of her.

Molly still having no time for Kristina is perfect.

Amen. I thought it was great to know that at the moment, we have FOUR lawyers (5 if we count Molly, 6 if Scotty ever makes it back) running around the canvas (Ric, Martin, Alexis, Diane) and it does not feel like any of them are stepping on anyone's toes. My way of saying that Ric soooo belongs on the canvas. And yes, that chemistry is still there.

A very smart play for Brad. Unless Portia mentions it to Ava...

Same boat. I feel like Liz is always around now and God bless her for that. Dare I hope she leads the October Cast Thread next month?

That is so funny I didn’t even think about the amount of lawyers on canvas now and like you said it doesn’t feel like any of them are stepping on each others toes. There’s so many criminals in this town it actually makes sense to spread the wealth.

Yeah, it occurred to me watching the Ric/Liz scenes. I mean he's involved in Wagger's death, Heather's potential lawsuit, Ava's custody case not to mention any drama with Liz and/or the Davis girls.

You have Diane who is involved in Wagger's death and about to be submerged in some Robert/Holly drama, not to mention being at the Qs beck and call.

Alexis might be out of jail now, but she has to deal with the feud between Kristina and Molly. And will probably have her own court case to deal with soon enough.

Martin just got Alexis off for the Wagger death. But will probably get another court case or help Ric with Ava. Connected to Laura.

And then we have Molly who wants Sonny to burn, was involved in the Wagger's death case, has her feud with Kristina, and it's looking like she's about to be feuding with Joss if what looks like is happening IS happening.

Intertwined a bit but yet...not stepping on toes. And I'm sure I've forgotten some plot threads, but that's just off the top of my head.

Scotty's missing out.

I've only just started sort watching the show for the first time the past few weeks since I wanted to see Van Hansis as Lucas, and I grew tired of Y&R and B&B and stopped watching both of them. Of course, I was aware of some of the characters and had some vague ideas of the stories just from reading about the soaps.

So as a newbie viewer...Liz and the actress that plays her is definitely a stand out. She lights up the screen and seems to be that classic good girl heroine we can root for.

I also enjoy the guy who plays Brad even though I still don't understand what's up with Whitney from Passions changing test results and why.

I loved Kate Mansi on DAYS, and I liked the fact that I heard her character was bi. But, now it looks like they may be dropping that part??? At least the show has some LGBT presence unlike B&B which is set in the fashion world and in LOS ANGELES but not one LGBT character.

On the downside, I just don't get the appeal of the Sonny character. How did he grow into such a huge part of the show?

Just my hot take as a new viewer.

Portia is a boring and whiny character who should go.

Kristina had a good relationship with Blaze but the writers broke them up and fired the Blaze actress, instead putting Kristina in the dark storyline that she is in now.

The changing of the test results is part of a longer-told storyline with some noticeable plot holes. Heather's retcon daughter, Esme Prince, was targeting Portia's daughter, Trina, because of her connection with Spencer Cassadine. And Heather was escaping Spring Ridge to act as the "Hook," targeting those close to Trina.

I don't think they're dropping it, per se, but they definitely dropping a pairing that was not working in any capacity, whatsoever.

The Sopranos, Jill Farren Phelps & Robert Guza Jnr. That's how. 🤣

But, welcome to General Hospital and hope you continue to enjoy your stay, since the two present CBS soaps continue to be nothing but boring disappointments.

I don't think they are dropping Kristina's bisexuality, but I would almost bet her next love interest in male.

If Ethan returned to the show, Kristina would make a beeline for him and forget that Blaze ever existed.

I liked Kristina/Ethan so it wouldn't bother me.  They do have a history.
