Rebecca Budig is NOT even in the ballpark of the same generation as KKL's Brooke. While Krista Allen may have also been fudging it, at least she sort of resembled Hunter Tylo. Bradley threw GOLD when he let her go. To find someone who can fit in an iconic role originated by one of the most beautiful women in the entire world... was nearly impossible... and Krista managed to do it. Please register in order to view this content I still wish Rebecca a lot of luck, because she is going to need it, knowing the situation in this show and the future storylines Bradley is going to cook up for her. I think there is potential if they write her character as a disturbed ex from hell. It could be fun. Both Hunter and Krista had too much grace when it came to Brooke. I would actually love if this new version terrorized Brooke. BUT I will never see her as Taylor. I can't imagine what Taylor fans must feel as it's clear Brad Bell has zero value for the character. If they're going to hire AMC actresses who are too young for the part, why not just cast Alicia Minshew? Is she still acting?
