Alexa would be decent, but I far prefer Jen Landon. I'll still only believe it when I see it.

Talent-wise, Jennifer Landon is a stronger actress. As for Alexa Havins... I feel like she'd sign a typical three-to-four year deal and then bounce out. I feel like Landon is the more secure of the two options.

I would think the opposite. Jen Landon has done quite well for herself and just had a regular role on one of the biggest shows on TV/streaming, which is why I was shocked she was in the running here. Alexa Havins I haven't heard from since the failed transplant of Torchwood to Starz over a decade ago. Landon has been much more successful.

These are true, accurate facts about Alexa & also Jennifer Landon. I myself was surprised at two names I've heard mentioned: Jen Landon & Lindsey McKeon. McKeon, if you recall, was one of the Marahs on GL. She also was seen in some shows that I think were on the CW.

True, very true. But Landon never left daytime outright: daytime left her (firings). Havins left daytime.

I mean, I would call doing a ton of primetime and then starring on the biggest show on streaming 'leaving daytime' lol. Lots of successful daytime people have been fired from this pointless role or that on a soap and then gone on to bigger success outside of it, which definitely happened for JL. My point being I think at this juncture she is much more likely to leave again, whereas Havins' career has failed to flourish.

The only reason I'd see Jennifer Landon considering this role is to possibly work with Maura West again.

I could see that as well. And look at that cute new avatar. ;)

I haven’t thought about Lindsey McKeon in years but I liked her as Marah even though she got some awful storylines. I could see her as a suitable Lulu.

Jennifer Landon is the most interesting choice IMO but I could also see the audience rejecting her brand of acting even though she matches the Spencer vibe perfectly.

Alexa Havins I could see being the most successful of the three, she’s got that fire in her and is a chemistry magnet. She’d be my pick if I’m tptb.

Part of me hopes they don’t even announce who got the role and the camera just pans over to Lulu’s hospital bed one episode and we hear “The role of Lulu will now be portrayed by…” voiceover.

Lindsey McKeon is a laughable suggestion.

Most of the younger women on the show come off like kewpie dolls or sisterwives now. If the Facebook audience can't take Landon that's their problem. They would've freaked out over Sarah Brown's energy back in the day.

I don't even remember Landon having that much energy on ATWT, although I haven't cared about going back to look.

I can see Havins, also Landon, your final paragraph is perfection. They should do exactly that. Of course, at the rate Frank is going on decision-making, this will mean they won't do it.
