So, that’s it for Bobby-Everett?

If it is, then good riddance. This storyline was a mess and the multiple  rewrites totally killed it. Now, if only Connie would follow him. 

Stefan confessing almost everything to Gabi was interesting. I like the way that this storyline is being built up. Too bad that Connie ruined it.

Not really sure about Chad and Jack going to Clyde’s hillbilly haven to investigate but I like the two of them working together. And despite what some spoilers have said about how this storyline may turn out, I’m still enjoying it. 

The Tripp/Haley mention was really random though. 

Unless the “real” Bobby Stein is going to arrive soon, things seem pretty final for Everett. 

Which is odd because there are still so many unanswered questions.  Like the mystery of his father's death and his ties to Clyde's drug ring.  Not to mention that it happened on a Thursday.

It is just so bizarre, the number of plots that are being quickly sewn up and ending.  If I didn't know better, I would imagine that the show is heading toward either a finale or a reboot.

I would imagine it's just a hard pivot away from the strike stories.

I literally went into the July thread not realizing it was August and was looking for your recap.  I didn't even know what to do this morning because I had to watch the show without your take.   Lol.  Thanks for your work!  I didn't even realize what I was missing until I couldn't find it.

What happened to Sonny though? He’s gone, just like that? His brother needs him lol but at the same time, I guess it’s a good thing that he’s gone because he’s safe from Leo 😂😂

Today was an improvement. The storylines featured today really are the better ones. I liked the Marlena/Paul scenes. They have a really nice relationship. And this is how Marlena is supposed to be used; with her family, instead of her dopey patients. 

I don’t really know why but I like the Brady/Fiona relationship. I don’t see them as some big couple or anything but I like their scenes together and I also like what this could lead to, for them, for Xander/Sarah, etc. 

I’m a little interested in the idea that John may have disappeared or had been kidnapped. His sons should go rescue him lol that would be a way to keep Paul on the canvas. 

As for Jack/Chad, despite everything, I’m looking forward to what the explanation’s gonna be on Monday.

I still can't believe they just killed him off mid episode like that lol.  And Jada and Stephanie spent half the episode watching him die.

The casualness and lack of concern Marlena has had about John missing until today is so OOC.   John and Marlena are practically obsessed with one another and she hasn't done anything except send Steve to find him.   John has been gone for about 4 months lol.  

Also, shouldn't Marlena get in trouble regarding Bobby/Everett?  Everyone thinks he committed suicide and she was the one who released him from Bayview.   That's a pretty big screw up on her part.

Have we learned Theresa's sentence?  I recall her at the station for a plea agreement (again, Salem justice makes no sense, why wasn't it in court?), but I don't know what happened to her.

Since kidnapping is a much more serious crime than anything else in Salem (just ask Lucas!), I would assume her sentence is life lol.  I think the show just said Theresa was in court today.  I don't think anything definitive happened yet.
