I've been catching up as well. I think the promising stories and elements are fading fast and I'll be dipping out soon (til Jonathan Jackson shows up), but I am glad Willow/Drew/Nina is still a thing for now. Sasha will never be a compelling option for me for Michael though, and frankly they need to write him out for a few years and recast.

I do think there was something there with Cody and Tracy under PM - both early on when she began using the stables more and more, and then when she actively compared him to a young Gregory. I can't see the network or FV going for it these days though.

I definitely don't think they would be a compelling couple, but I could see it being some compelling story around them for a short term, as you would probably have the Deception group divided in their loyalties between Sasha or Cody, and Sonny too if the show remembers she was his sister-in-law, and he might be wary of Michael clearly using and discarding her. And she used to be involved with Chase too, I think, or they were friends, so if Chase is protective of her that might cause more issues with the Quartermaines. They have all these people living there who have such messy histories, even if that's not because of nuanced writing and more just pick-a-pair scripts.

Oddly I could have seen Ron maybe going for Cody/Tracy, although it probably would have been heinously done.

@dc11786 and then there was three on the catch-up and nothing wrong with mentioning what came before. Though I found Finn storyline well paced for it to be rushed.

I'm currently on last Friday and it's been a pretty good week. It feels like good soap in that they clearly found an A story and everything else is flitering around through that...same as that one week of Finn's storyline that I mentioned earlier today.

He probably would have had it bloom into complete love, too. Or perhaps more like Dorian/David on OLTL

I could see the Dorian/David aspects too (hopefully without recreating that under-the-table scene).

Oh, it would be so horribly done. They'd be fücking, then watching reruns of some old '70s comedy in bed. Instead, they should be having wild sex in the stables.

I’m surprised they have Willow confessing to Nina so quickly.

I can’t fully pin point it but the show is starting to get that generic Chris and Dan era stench back.

It screams undoing PM's storylines and putting it out to pasture to me.

Mhmm; it's screaming "I'm in control and I'm doing what I'm told, which you were not doing."

Charlotte randomly being back after being gone the majority of PMs tenure feels like a play at that as well.

If we’re just going back to characters regurgitating story plot in 2 second scenes like todays show has been a prime example of…I definitely won’t be sticking around for much longer.

It felt like they had pivoted away from that story (Anna shooting her) pretty quickly even before CVE and Dan were fired. I assumed it was deeply unpopular.

The last year of this show has been the most disjointed it has ever been.  The sheer volume of starts and stops and dropped stories across that period is incredible. FV has dropped stories before, but nothing like this. The only excusable one was anything to do with Mac. All the rest are just amateurish for a team this seasoned.
