It's nice that they finally acknowleged their relationship to some degree. Tracy is warning Nik to stay away from her on Monday. I sure hope Helena returns -- I'd love to see Helena mess with Brook and have some helena/ tracy snark!!!

Thanks, Nex!

Loved today! It was hilarious to watch Tracy become the antsy one; the one who wanted to bolt. I loved when Luke told the minister, "She's sure, let's get on with it." Luke's passion throughout the ceremony was beautiful to watch. I love how Luke and Lulu's speeches left Tracy speechless. That's a big feat. Haha. It is great to see Lucky on board with this marriage, and Ethan's speech was funny and to the point. How awesome was Brook Lynn today? She inspired Tracy to take a chance at happiness. I love how that these two have started on a path toward forming a relationship. And, Tracy's graciousness toward Brook was amazing. I can't wait for more of the reception on Monday!

Ah…… the "let's chat after Remos has gone to bed" has begun again, lol. One of these evenings I might actually surprise everyone and stay up. :P

So, so glad you guys are doing this again. I missed the chat room. AND so wonderful to have everyone returning to the Club House - it's had some lonely stretches this year.

BTW respeat episodes of MC stuff today and tomorrow and next TH and F.

I think Tracy is in the one today or tomorrow 2/1/07 or 2/2/07. 1/31 was when luke returned after being MIA since xmas after lauar went back to catatonia

Next week it is 2/16 and 2/17 I think. I believe one of those is when alan woke up or something in the hospital

I will say "ditto" to this post. Beautifully said, Linnie. ITA with everything.

Lainey, I can try to do a banner for you with my new program. I used to use 2 different programs, but one is outdated for this computer...I'm actually about to change my holiday banner to a wedding one, and that will give you an idea to see what I am (or am not) capable of.

Love you, Ms. Q. Thanks!

Can you pick one of the kiss pictures -- with them in liplock -- either from the I dos or from just after Luke's speech at the reception. I want the text to read:

"Luke Spencer, I will love you 'til the day I die."

(But I won't obey...)

Lainey, do you want the same style as your current banner? Or your previous banner with the big square then 3 smaller ones? Text on top or on the bottom? What do you want the main color to be? Or do you want me to keep the same color and just add lighting? Do you want the photo outlined in a certain color? Speaking of the photo, would you prefer a close-up or a distant shot? What kind of font do you want the text in? I want to ask these questions now instead of having to re-do it later. ;)

I don't want the four boxes as my current style. Don't remember old banner. Do as you think appropriate, but I would prefer if you didn't do a heavy color treatment to the banner (the pink).

Text on bottom, centered please.

Prefer a close-up kiss, not distant.

Would like font to be modern and crisp.

Overall, I want a sleek, modern crisp feel.

THANK YOU, MS. Q!!!

XOXOX

You're right! I would love that. Helena comes back, doesn't think that Brook is worthy of Nik so she tries to get her gone...Tracy comes to her grandaughters defense! Helena/Tracy battling would be PRICELESS.

    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton practically twirling his moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
    • It absolutely was; the narrative was there, and they followed it promptly. Maybe that's back when women had babies at young ages?!?!?

    • Thanks for asking that!  Back when we had another major event upcoming (a party or the concert), I had intended to ask what everyone here was planning to wear.

    • Lol. Right?  I mean the show could have framed the 60th anniversary in a different way, but the narrative was celebrating Tom and the hospital. Also, what a weirdly sexist bunch of posts about women's nail polish.  Like, yes, this is Days problem lol.  Stacy Haiduk isn't a good Kristen because she doesn't wear nail polish?  Are we in the 1950's???
