Hey guys. I asked CH (diane) a question on her website--she is so cool and answers questions. This is the Q&A since we love hearing stuff about Jane.

Carolyn,

I have really been glad to see Diane mix it up with some other characters. Was it fun to work with Tony, Jane, etc at the Haunted Star opening? I know the dialogue was brief, but was glad to see you pop up again the night the casino was shut down last week and you had a scene with Tony again! Very cool!

Tony is fabulous...so very laid-back. So mellow. Jane is a spot-on professional...teased me a great deal about me wanting the prop. guys to keep refilling my pretzel bowl. Then she started nibbling herself. Loved sitting next to Sebastian at the blackjack table. Kept stealing his chips when he wasn't looking.

Love, C

Hey Remos, I love your series. It's all so gentle and loving, just as how I imagine them when the world isn't looking.

Hi MinervaFan! WB. Glad you got soapnet. Have you fallen in love with Dax yet? I freakin' can't get enough of them. They sizzle! Yummy. (And JLex isn't too bad, either).

Thanks Lainey...

From Lynda Hirsch:

Alexis warns Luke he'll be convicted of money laundering.

Lulu and Johnny enter into a dangerous game when they activate their plan to make Anthony believe they're a couple.

Spinelli turns to Patrick for advice on how to attract women.

SNEAK PEEK: Claudia is shot.

(Did I get everyone's favourites? There wasn't any Dax.)

From the IL at SD:

*Tracy has had enough

*Luke is unable to get out of a legal mess

*Sam gets a fresh start

*Tracy and Sam don't see eye to eye

From Wubs.net (not new, but it's nice to see the consistency):

Luke's laundering ways gets him arrested

After Luke jumps bail, Tracy runs the Haunted Star

Looks like Luke will be arrested, jump bail and go off with Tracy's blessing.

EDIT

New poll at SOC:

Who is the King/Queen of Verbal Smackdowns?

Go forth and do your duty...

Was going to post what Remos posted...

Tracy has had enough? Hmm...She is probably like enough, go into hiding for a while....

I keep seeing the same thing, that he leaves with her blessing. Let's hope it is true. We will find out soon enough.

She's pulled ahead, 31 to 26. It seems to be concluding that Tracy is the Queen and Maxie is the Princess or Lady in Waiting. All the others are in the dust.

I've been watching the other one on and off. Not fareing well, eh.... I just need a third...

So, Nik and Luke previews tomorrow, I read...I guess I should be saying YAY for cast integration, but I am saying "Boo to Tracy being limited to Luke and not vice-versa."

I guess Nik wants advice on moving on from the one who makes it worthwhile or something...What are we expecting? A LuNacy jab, an LnL jab, something that will make all fanbases happy???

I have to say that I don't really care if Lacy wins the poll at SOC. I'd rather they didn't, matter of fact. Let them have their Lusam and whoever.....if I ever agreed with the majority opinion over there, I think I'd cry.

As far as Maxie/Tracy, Maxie is Tracy in training, Maxie has a long way to go to reach Tracy's stature. I used to like Maxie, but if what I've read is true and Jason is hinting Maxie is like Carly, I'm done with her. *shrug*

If that's where Guza is going, buh-bye Maxie. Nice knowing the part of you that was entertaining.

Really no one can deliver a smackdown like Tracy. But of course, Tracy is meaaaaan when she does it, and no one else is. <_<<_<<_< .

whatever. It's not that I'd ever deny Tracy is mean...it's just certain people saying Tracy is mean with her smackdowns....and ignoring that the very nature of the smackdown requires meanness.

*rant over*

And ooooh. I'd love a nice little speech where Luke talks about moving on, but the people who don't like Lacy or Luke moving on, are going to hate it, anyway. Meh. So I say, if we have to read the snotty posts, we better get something good and make the migraines worthwhile !

Unless Luke was to say Tracy was just a game and Laura just woke up, the LnL fanbase wouldn't be happy regardless. And since we know both of those are untrue, I'm voting to piss off the LnL crowd for $500, Alex.

Actually, the nastiest thing about Tracy came from Greenbutterfly, who seems to think the only way to hold her 'angel' to the light is to destroy our girl. The irony, of course, is that none of us feel the need to defend Tracy 'cause she can stand on her own. It's fun to watch the butterfly quiver, though...

If you mean Laura, the one thing (THE ONLY THING, apparently) that GB and I agree on is that Laura is a big bore. No, I think GB just doesn't think much of Tracy, which is okay by itself, it's her love of characters that aren't any better than Tracy (Carly, Spammy, Maxie, Claudia) that boggles my mind.

I don't think she sees their faults, at least, she doesn't see them AS faults. If that makes any sense.

Really... hmmm.. I thought she was one of the remaining three LnL diehards. Shows how much I actually paid attention. :P

Hey TL... all we needed to happen was for the rest of the country to get home from work. Tracy has pulled ahead of Maxie by almost 10 points, and it's only 5 ET.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, we can't win anyway, might as well laugh. WITH THEM, of course. Not at them. Wait......they don't have a discernable sense of humor....hmmm.....well, with them, at them, who cares ! :)

Bada-bing, bada-boom !

And no. One thing I do remember (because as I said, it's the only thing we agree on) is that Laura is boring.

    • I've seen it posted elsewhere people saying "Veronica" should be on this show. My response is always going to be hell no.  You're definitely right about these characters catching on with the audience. Everyone has their favorite. I was pleasantly surprised people have some for Doug.
    • If the show was interested in tying in one of the three prime time specials in the 90s, the smarter choice probably would have been Night Sins from 1993. Night Sins was the ushering in of Titan Publishing, the first mentions of Kate Roberts coming in to run it, plus it had involved Jack retyping a manuscript he had found in the new house he and Jen moved into... which ended up being a thinly veiled story written by Kate about her dalliance with Bill Horton that produced Lucas. However, I doubt the writers were even thinking about the prime time episodes when deciding to name the manuscript One Stormy Night.  I also don't see Stephanie being the one that would be writing it.  The current actress playing Stephanie seems to play a more passive version of Stephanie vs the previous takes by Shayna and Shelley..imho. Javi is cute... much too good for Leo.  He can do so much better.
    • I might've gone after someone like Jed Allan, or even Donald May. Though they're very different.
    • Same.   Looking forward to seeing what I missed later. And God bless him for coming back!!! I was so happy to see him again! But...will he be for Dani...or Nicole? Hmm
    • Question for all: Who would have made a good Mike recast after Stewart departed?
    • I think they did. Again, it is not an either/or proposition for most of the audience so far. Most don't feel the need to stan one or reject the other.
    • KKL on Bold Live on May 1st. Details here
    • I do wonder if the show realized that fans would take to Silk Press and Eva as much as we have?    To me, I think the core four was mostly used to get eyes on the show since all four were familiar performers in both daytime and primetime.   Of the four, I think Nicole is used most effectively where it doesn't look as though she's hogging airtime.  She works as a lead and as a talk to. Anita has been the most under utilized of the four, but I do have a feeling that might be changing once the Ted/Nicole/Eva/Silk Press Story goes back to support status. Of the four, I think Dani has been over-used.. but I do still see potential for the character.  I know some people think she's the modern day Erica Kane, but I don't see that.  Erica was a Have Not that became a Have while Dani is a Have by birth and has done nothing to have earned being a Have. Good cliffhanger.
    • LOL now this sells it for me!  I can't wait to watch later tonight!
    • I think this is a great observation.  I do wonder if some of that was down to how Nixon had started writing story and plot outlines.  By this point (maybe even by the mid 70s) many have discussed how she *didn't* write detailed story outlines anymore--the focus more was on a mood or theme and ABC simply allowed that because they trusted her at this stage (in her "memoir" I think even Megan McTavish talks about Nixon's writing in this way in the 90s and she basically seems to admit that it worked for Nixon.  But if Nixon wasn't in charge of the daily execution of these ideas...) What was with the ABC soaps around that time bringing in Aussie "hunks" from Heartbreak High?  Richard (Corey Paige?) Tanner on AMC (Vince Poletto) OK not from Heartbreak High but didn't Ingo Rademacher start on GH around this same time?
