I'm on the fence about these re-watch podcasts.  I think that I prefer a fan perspective, as the actors sometimes provide a skewed analysis.  There's rarely much BTS gossip that hasn't already been revealed elsewhere, or not revealed because it wasn't very interesting.  And it always smacks of a cash grab.

I don't know I enjoy the "Pod Meets World" podcast for Boy Meets World, learned a lot of things I never knew and get their perspective on how they viewed certain scenes & whatnot. It could be interesting

I remember how obsessed I was with the original Melrose place... This is the show that helped me learn English back when I was a teen. Just playing a scene I am back to being 13-14 and downloading the episodes from some old dusty sites on the internet.

If this show really comes back... with some of the OG cast... it will be a dream come true. Even if it flops. It would still be entertaining.

Agreed, I love re-watching some MP, especially the first 3.5 seasons. I haven't listened to any rewatch podcasts of any other shows (including Housewives) but I'll definitely be listening to this!

I have to re-watch too! I don't know how my 29 year old brain will take this show now versus my teenage years. Sadly the quality is not that better than the ones I've seen before on the internet. They should have improved it a bit, it's 2024 for God's sake. But I am up for a rewatch podcast.

How is it a cash grab when you arent paying for it? I probably wont listen but im here for it existing for those that want it

I listened to it and loved it! Looking forward to them going through the individual episodes, with special guest stars to appear sometimes. Sounds like Andrew Shue will be the first up.

I don't know if this exactly answers your question, but I referenced it being a cash grab because they are being paid through I Heart Media.  That doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the podcast, it is just meant to provide context.

Even if it's a cash grab - GOOD for them, grab that cash. I also listened to episode 1 and loved it. They are really fun.

Exactly! Why not cash in on some goodhearted nostalgia? 

Nothing wrong with that at all. I just love they're proud of the show, a lot of actor's like to move on from stuff like this and act like they're too good to remember (whatever it was)

Those ladies are smart to launch a rewatch podcast.  To a generation of viewers, MP is like visual comfort food, so they'll likely eat that stuff up.  (I should know: I, myself, can't get enough of "Murder, She Wrote" reruns on PlutoTV and wish certain cast members were still alive to do a podcast of that show, lol).

Hopefully they'll get Vanessa Williams for season one episodes (I don't expect Amy Locane, for obvious reasons, though that'd be exciting!)
