Watching this right now, BC mentions that Samantha and Tyrell were initially 6 and 7, but aged up for technical reasons.

Also MM initially auditioned for Derek.

Notice on that page there is a video, and the video shows a different color
which is the color worn by Audra on Y&R - April 23-28, 2025.

I just watched it, it was decent, looking forward to Martin's secret.

Glad to get info on why the children were aged up!

Claybon said Samantha and Tyrell were initially 6 and 7, but aged up for technical reasons, first aged up to 10 or 11, and then finally to 16 and 17.

Is that the first time soap children have been SORASed twice before ever airing?

Were those reasons to do with having younger children on set?

Other shows seem to manage.

The ageing up of the kids has been one of the mistakes the show has made.
