Deadline gave us a rare glimpse into the ratings that CBS is going by which I assume includes Live+3/7 since these numbers differ from the live ratings @Errolprovides.

"While Beyond the Gates has posted impressive gains in The Talk’s old timeslot — the Michele Val Jean drama is up 70% and averages 2.1 million viewers."

The problem with this information is that it doesn't indicate a timeline for the average, nor whether it is based on Live+7 or multiplatform viewing. Otherwise, 2.1 million viewers on the surface sounds great, and is an improvement over The Talk, as that show never did well in delayed viewing, but is 2.1 million viewers good for CBS when B&B/Y&R are doing in excess of three million among multiplatform viewing?

My understanding is that Deadline's story is in response to my article about several shows hitting series lows, including Beyond the Gates, in Live+Same Day.

The title track from the follow-up album Hot On the Trail is also co-written by Val Jean:

7" 45 RPM single from Deniece Williams
taken from the "Let's Hear it for the Boy" album

This U.S.A. single sold to the public has these songs:
A-side: Black Butterfly
B-side: Blind Dating co-written by MVJ

The UK and Netherlands singles of Black Butterfly don't have "Blind Dating" on the B-side. Other songs are on B-side.
There are U.S. promotional copies of Black Butterfly that don't have Blind Dating on the B-side.
