^ Rosalind?  I thought Ms. Tunie's character is Anita?

First Betty, then Anita, and now Rosalind? What is this?

Rosalind like Rosalind Cash.

Miss Cash was also a singer by the way, so there's that.

I'm confident the show will make exceptions (within reason) for talent they really want to bring on board.

Time will tell, won't it?

I REALLY want to see who will be playing the various roles of the men. And like I said before, I hope they don't alter or chicken out on the character description for Marcus.

Hopefully Betty will get a name change by the time the show airs.

Even Bettina would be an improvement.

Thanks Michelle.

I wonder what the opening credits will be like - and will it be a theme song with lyrics sung by Tamara Tunie?

I also wonder what the first week of episodes will be about. Will they kickoff with a big event like a wedding or even a political election? Or will it be more gradual and focused on setting up the domestic lives of these characters? A mix of both?

Absolutely. For instance, if Debbi Morgan is cast and wants to travel from Maryland to work three days a week, I’m sure they would accommodate her. Tamara Tunie is likely getting similar flexibility, given all the projects she’s involved in. However, I believe newcomers or less established actors are likely required to adhere to the rule of living in Atlanta.

It seems like series regulars were mandated for the Atlanta residence, which begs the question: is Tunie a regular or a recurring player (for now)?

Make her the Macdonald Carey of the show and have her say some soapy introduction in the opening.

TBH, I don't understand why they should require residency, as long as the actor is willing to fly out and not demand a special schedule. But if they must, I assume some of the actors will just rent a small apartment on paper and keep their primary home and travel back and forth.
