I want... (and I'm not demanding... just an observation) to keep the mood happy in here. I mean... life is not that long (it really isn't)... to lose time with negativity. And I've observed that any time I come in here, there is some negativity... people doubting if the show will survive before it has even started and etc. I get all of this... I respect everyone's opinions. But I also want to KEEP being happy. I know it may sound like I'm ignoring the negative and only focusing on the positive, but I do want to keep being excited.  And I agree 100 percent with everything that @Errol said.

Anything I've found strange or inappropriate... I've reported it. And that's all. We, the members, are still not admins, and never will be, to tell other people what they can and cannot post in here. Period. Of course we can disagree, but know that in the end... we are NOT the authority in this forum. That's why I said days ago that demands and requests of how other people should act, what to post, to not post, what to focus or not focus, are counter-productive. First - they're completely useless, if you are not an authority, and second - people do the exact thing they are asked not to do... the moment you ask them.

And wanting to keep it positive... I want to share this clip of the wonderful and talented Tamara Tunie -  I am obsessed with finding clips and material with her. And imagining how she's going to play the role of Anita... And yes - I still like her first outfit that we've seen. I think it's iconic.

I think them teaming with NuTime Media will also be a major, contributing factor, as well.

Per their website:

❝ Founded by President-CEO Morris McWilliams, an experienced National Media Sales Executive, NuTime Media is a MBE Certified Black-Owned Media Ad-Sales Representation Company with offices in New York and Chicago.  NuTime Media specializes in the African American entertainment segment and media landscape.  While at his former company, Related Media Inc., McWilliams represented the National Ad-Sales for “The Wendy Williams Show,” “Steve Harvey,” “Arsenio Hall,” “House of Payne,” “Family Feud,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “Girlfriends,” “The Parkers,” “Chappelle’s Show,” “Meet The Browns,” and “The Queen Latifah Show,” through “CBS Media Ventures,” "NBC Universal Television,” “Disney ABC Domestic Television,” “Sony Pictures Television,” “20th Television” and “MGM Domestic Television.”

NuTime Media has an Exclusive Partnership with CBS Media Ventures to represent many of the syndicator’s top-rated shows with African American audiences and to engage likeminded content creators to provide the advertising partners with more opportunities to reach this valuable consumer group in a very significant way on multiple platforms. ❞

The networks/shows they presently advertise through seem promising.

I seem to keep finding little tidbits by accident.

Meet the actor who's apparently playing someone named "Dr. Doug McBride" on the upcoming soap. Another doctor, eh? Oh, and does his last name ring a

I know I probably shouldn't say this but I'm loving all of these black faces being positioned to star on this show. Please let this be a success.

Don't trust IMDb. It is user-edited, and they have others on the cast, like: Michelle Visage (as Maya), Terra Jolé (as Leah), Greg Clarkson (customer #1), Contessa Metcalfe (as Tyra), Nina Parker (as Maggie) & Abby Lee Miller (as Lucia). All user-generated. And list Ron Carlivati as associate head writer, which we already know he isn't.

Today is the top of Week 3 of production. But I’m rewinding to Week 2 because these three women did a THING!!! Shouting out the #BeyondTheGates Glam Squad @jeresa_featherstone @symartmakeup @hairbywankaya and each of their teams. Every day they’re the first ones in, and the last to leave, transforming all that they touch. Thank you, Ladies for all your creative genius! Can’t wait to share!!!

    • It will be amazing if we could record the skipped episodes. Did someone sent a list of the skipped youtube episodes to the guys that are filling in the gaps?
    •   I don't think they ever wanted Sprina to be popular and I don't think they will bring Spencer back until Trina is gone. They've worked hard to marginalize their black cast, and that is only increasing. Trina/Gio could have been an interesting relationship, but they would rather just whittle that character away and then write her out.
    • Daytime belonged to CBS. They would have been making a lot of $$$ with that lineup. For context, this is the lineup at that time. Only one soap on ABC (GH) and NBC (TD) which was still an anthology at that point. So it wasn't until the opposition added more soaps that they became competitive. NBC CBS ABC 10:00am Say When! • Per recent Twitch live: Wraps filming his new film on Friday. Begins a new film on May 19. Will resume regular Twitch streams soon. Has a lot of projects coming out later this year. His current project has kept him in Tennessee longer than he was meant to be.
    • Has BTG been using flashbacks much? Of course, as a new show there aren't many f/b worthy moments but I think they can get by w/o having to use/recreate the Leslie reveal scene. What other 'soap' tropes have they employed or ignored so far? We've talked about the lack of traditional cliffhangers with lingering camera shots. They have done a couple of fantasy scenes. Has anyone apart from Dana had talk to themselves scenes? Montages?
    • Thank You!!! @rsclassicfanforever and to anyone else who contributed to the vaults over the years. I have dipped in/out and gotten my life watching Y&R early years. I never would had the appreciation for characters like Lorie Brooks if not for the Vaults, so again, Thanks.
    • Another lot of skipped episodes to look forward to when the time comes on Videoland. So annoying. They have skipped so many, especially in  season 15 where they skipped 19 episodes throughout the season. Is it just me or is the vault down? It's like a different error message this time so it's hard to know if it's me this time.
    • thank you for uploading the rest of season 12!!! I hope i can get them soon the links down! Thank you again for posting the B&B classic episodes to revisit!!!!
    • Hmm, okay.  BTW, my only problem with Kai & the surgery story is where is this guy's family? And, another BTW, I think I may have inadvertently added to that rumor from last year about a male descendant of Justus Ward. You see, that is an idea I could really get behind! Like I would pay to see those scenes. And, true, I did hear it ... [sheepish grin]
