Sugar ... well, it's random but anything's possible.  If that were the case, then everyone would assume the corpse is Sheila's body, so nobody would do a DNA test.   Then the real Sheila would leave town or lay low for a little while off canvas, which would technically make Kimberlin's "exit" true even if temporary.

I have fallen into the rabbit hole and have taken Bradley's bait. Now I will fu-cking watch to see who the f-ck did Steffy stab. I rewatched the episode and my gut is really telling me this is not Sheila. The whole veil thing on her face... the way she did not defend herself... Sheila will never just die like that... without a HUGE fight before that.

I am ashamed to say... I am hooked to see who this was... it's so disgustingly stupid and bad writing... but here I am thinking about it. I guess my IQ has finally lowered after watching so much Bradley Bell episodes through the years.

ALSO in the podcast both Sheila and Casey said that something will happen that was NEVER seen before... and she said she is excited about that. I doubt she is excited to be killed off....

HMMMMMMMMM

It’s an incredibly silly story no matter what the resolution, but the repetitive “she wants me dead!” dialogue makes me think Sheila set Steffy up, and will probably haunt her in the months to come until she’s inevitably revealed to be alive come May sweeps. The Sugar thing just gives the writers an easy out.

Who are you and why are you so right! Are you Bradley Bell... I am joking! You analysis is superb. YES! I think you are 10000 percent predicting the future.

As someone on another board pointed out, if it this is Sugar (or some other Sheila doppelgänger), then they'd have to have planned this far in advance, and have removed a toe from the doppelgänger with enough time for it to heal over.

@Errol posted about IG pics from two guest actors in Feb. 27 episode here:

They seem to be dressed as paramedics.  So now I wonder,  will they be real paramedics -- or fake paramedics like Y&R's  Phyllis faked death of summer 2023?

Or MAYBE just maybe there is no double at all. It's all Sheila.

Hear my take.

Sheila said publicly - Steffy wants me dead the episode before. She was planting the seeds. Making sure Steffy will be accused of it.

Now... we know Sheila is capable of some mad stuff - so... she was wearing some garment that allowed her to be stabbed with fake blood dripping from her clothes, in her mouth she was also having the special effects blood and ready to fake her death.  It will explain why she straight went to be stabbed. Who lunges like that at someone with a knife? Sheila is not thaaaaat stupid.

So we need paramedics to be... bought off... She could have previously arranged it.

That way she can fake her own death and get Steffy in jail and in big trouble, all while remaining alive and watching Steffy's world collapse.

It sounds as bad as anything Bradley can write.

Is KB hinting with reposting this. It's basically saying she is not dead.

We've just lived through the Eric is dying/John McCook is retiring debacle, so Bradley is now  not only recycling plots but also hype surrounding them.

What really would be a shocker is a well plotted story that took a character in a new direction and had some long term consequences!

I'm late to the party, everyone's commentary is spot on, here, and in the promo thread.  I too have to wonder if Sheila is really dead.  It seems it would be difficult for KB and JMW to make those comments in the TV Insider interview, knowing KB is not exiting, and Sheila is not dead...Unless they are being kept in the dark themselves.  We'll see...

Frankly I would feel a bit cheated if Steffy was the one to finally take Sheila done. That "honour" should go to Lauren.

Stephanie would have been an ok choice as well, but that's not possible anymore, for obvious reasons.

Someone previously said something about Sheila mentioning meeting someone from the past... this is the clue for me... and the exact words - Steffy wants me dead...  It's way too obvious... for her to really die.

Also seeing some of the things people are liking on social media, instagram... people from the show... seeing the posts that Kimberlin is liking and re-posting on her stories on IG - I am 1 million percent sure she is not dead. I just hope they do this crazy storyline SOMEWHAT interesting.

    • Yikes -a Cane/Phyllis sex scene. Why was there no warning before this episode aired? And of course Phyllis had sex with her bra on.  Had to laugh when Cane, trying to think of Phyllis' password to sneak into her laptop, talks out loud so we (and she) can be clued into what's happening. What is Phyllis' financial standing? At one point she was wealthy enough to run a hotel-which she gave up in an instant(can't remember why-some inane reason) Now she's scrounging around for a job with Cane. The many residents of the GCAC who are living in hotel rooms don't seem to do anything to personalize their space-no photos, books etc. The GCAC must have a strict policy on that. Nikki did look good today. Still find her hairstyle a little dowdy though.
    • Then 87 is the year you're looking for. Vanessa leaves town in Jan 88. When I saw Jenny counseling Dinah about George making the pass at her, all I could think was that Van would be pissed Ross' latest fling was advising her daughter. Cop or not.
    • As much as I hate Phyllis, seeing Billy Flynn in those boxers briefs in today's episode, has me almost tolerating her. BF looks

    • Dear sweet June, you'll get it right eventually.  In the meantime it's a good chuckle.

    • Damn, Leslie went in on Shanice... poor girl! Leslie really can't handle stress or certain emotions well, she lashes out. I also think it's weird she wants to know so many details about Eva's love/sex life. Vernon was sweet to June. It was nice (realistic) to see a customer complain to her though while she's still trying to establish herself. I'll be that guy, but for me personally, my enthusiam/excitement over the show has stalled yet again over the last couple weeks. For the majority, it seems like we're in a holding pattern until Winterfest. It's like they don't want to rock the boat or do much until then, which leaves us in a quiet period here. Are sweeps a thing still these days? Seems odd that we're having a slow November. That ending was good, but I saw that coming... in theory it should have a quick resolution, but I'm guessing Leslie will expose it at Winterfest and it'll get throw out of proportion haha.
    • Yes. Why? I don't really care. Vanessa is also acting dumb, trying to run between tables, on a date with Ross in one room and a business meeting with Alan in another.  One of the few times Van is written as less than the smart woman she was.
    • I've been specifically looking for the episodes for Ross and Van together, because they essentially both raise Dinah at that period and the recaps around her typically avoid the Dorie years, the carnies, or Alan-Michael and Cam. I'm really just trying to trace a throughline between Paige, Wendy, and Gina. The last two are "easy," but it just messes with my timeline when Dinah thinks Alan-Michael would kill Ross. Then again, that Alan-Michael slept with his own stepdaughter, so...
    • Anyway...they literally mentioned the secret room today on Days and yes, this show needs a Kristen lesbian story lol.
    • Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.
    • There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.
