It's astonishing how I remember various moments and stages of my life tied to what was happening on the show during those times. Just the sight of Brooke's hair from a different era can transport me back to that time... when she sported that look. I honestly believe that these shows are more than entertainment. Over time, we genuinely connect with the atmosphere and the characters, like a window to another family out there. At least, that's how I perceive it. I've never experienced life without Bold being a part of it and my love for it. My mother watched the show while she was pregnant with me, and in the days following my birth, she would catch episodes while I lay in her arms at the hospital, listening. For decades, she insisted that THIS must be why my little brain became so in love with this show. She of course grew to hate it with the years, since she couldn't stand me talking about it non-stop. It was truly one of the first things I encountered in life.😁 There is not a moment I was not watching Bold... first in my mother's arms... then my grandma... and at one point it became my own thing. I remember the first modern phones that could record audio as files... - I WAS SOOOO excited that I could run to the TV and record the intro in this horrific quality in order to make it my ringtone. Memories, memories.
