I still sort of wanted Kristina to explore her feud with Joss and date Dex lol, but y'all know I hate Joss.

Really weird fit.  I'll be honest and just say it made AS look about 30 lbs heavier than she actually is.

I don't mind Carly being blind to her dead mother's flaws.  It seems earnest.  We as viewers know Bobbie was a mess express a lot, but Carly holds Bobbie in a very high regard and Bobbie was always very good to Carly.

It's very typical of soaps today to a) desexualize most LGBT characters by forcing baby stories upon them and b) force too many baby stories period, because they are allegedly instantly greenlit in this strange day and age before anything else. The entire latest baby surrogacy mess should not exist. It is a time-waster.

Considering PM is a uh, openly sex-positive guy to say the least, it'll be interesting to see how the current puritanical GH shifts or doesn't.

I agree. The surrogacy storyline would not have been my way to go. Moreso with recasts. Kristina's sexuality alone could bring out some tales. And as we discuss from time to time, the fact that she has a good enough relationship with her father that if someone was to happen to Sonny, she would mostly like run the 'coffee' business better than Michael ever could.

Yeah, I enjoyed the catty/shady tension that started to pop up between Kristina and Joss before LA left. I really wanted to see it explored and it felt like they were going there. But alas. It's been a minute outside of Trina v Esme that there had been a female rivalry. And the fact they were family, too? It wrote itself for the amount of shear messiness that could have followed.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHA!!!! Oh, I just hollered.

I agree. My favorite scene was Kristina and Joss at the Q Mansion and Kristina was throwing all kinds of smirks and jabs at Joss with Dex in the middle and I loved it. Such a shame it was dropped. Especially now that EMc is back. I guess I've softened to Joss with the Temp because I'm starting to dislike Joss again more than when the Temp was around.

I actually don't disagree.  I don't think any drama is there.  Kristina was entirely up front with her surrogacy plans, her pregnancy, her lifestyle changes, etc.. So Blaze can dip out, but it wouldn't be because Kristina wasn't transparent about everything.

Especially Avery. That girl is a spitfire when it comes to smarts already. lol.

Totally agree.

Oh no! I don't think it's good soap opera, either. Like I said above, I would rather see Joss vs Kristina or just the romance with its hard knocks between Blaze and Kristina than to see this baby surrogate story. But soapy in terms of 'can the girl catch a break before her romance gets to Cloud Nine'. But of course not cuz happiness is boring so let's make it complicated soap.

Omg that dress was hideous (I realize it's not her final wedding chioce). As was Lois' braid across her forehead. Good grief, who's running hair and wardrobe? I expect nothing less than first and last names from the pros here.

And yes, KS looks like she's already lost about 20 quick pounds. She will probably shrink even further before our very eyes. Have any of you seen Kelly Osbourne lately? Man, I did not recognize her at her last interview. Good thing she still had the lilac hair color. I sure hope that stuff proves to be safe in the long run.

I support Blaze because the show needs a female Hispanic character. I support the surrogacy storyline because I love Kristina and Molly. I love the Kraze pairing because Kristina finally gets a love interest. I think what is going to happen is that the tabloid press will out Blaze's relationship with Kristina. Both Kristina and Blaze will be targeted by Sonny's enemies. They will suffer an ordeal together but survive and then want to raise the baby together.

    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).
