DAYS: character being recast or a new teen on the way?

There is talk possibility false rumors that Jamie Martin Mann is no longer playing Tate and has been recast with Leo Howard. Leo Howard has been seen with Days cast in particular Eric Martsolf. Howard is also being followed on social media by Days cast. Some are saying Howard is a new character coming in for the teen scene.

Hope he isn’t a Tate recast. Jamie Martin Mann’s been doing so well.

Maybe he’ll be Tate’s friend and another part of the teen scene.

Who the eff is Noah Reed?

Noah Reed is the child of Austin Reed and Carrie Brady. Baby Reed was born off-screen in Switzerland sometime in 2013. Noah has yet to appear on the show, but Carrie was pregnant when she left town in 2012 and their loved ones received the news of the baby's birth when he was born.

Leo Howard was spotted in ig stories from one of several Daytime Emmys events in mid-December, with Emily O'Brien, Ashley Puzemis, and stage manager Jessie Harrison.  (These pictures were saved by someone specifically searching for pics of Emily O'Brien that night.  He could have been in pics with other cast that night, that were not saved.)

Leo Howard was in a few ig story photos of a poker game on January 5, 2004, with Rob Wilson, Eric Martsolf, Dan Feuerriegel, and Brandon Barash.

The speculation is fun, but is there a reason to believe that he'll be part of the teen crowd versus the Johnny/Chanel/Wendy/Tripp 20-something group?  Certainly, Tripp and Wendy could use some conflict other than their respective mothers.
