In other news, that Sloan threat to Nicole at the end of today's show was so poorly delivered. Too fast, too lacking in emotional power and impact. Rushing out of the room was a bad choice, and it would have been better for Sloan to warn and threaten Nicole and just stand there staring at her.

Jessica Serfaty just has to do better.

I love Ron’s writing. Albert Alaar was scabbing the scripts until he got fired. Can’t wait until Ron’s back!!

Although this story thread seems to have been dropped, I can't help but think how interesting and informative it would be if Paulina has an undiagnosed cardiac condition masquerading as anxiety.  Black women are woefully underserved by traditional medicine.  Even a wealthy woman like Paulina was not given an echocardiogram to look for mitral valve prolapse.  So it would be a creative social message to watch her get a proper diagnosis and have Kayla or Tripp learn about how racial bias affects cardiac care in Black women.  I'm not asking for Kayla to be fired, but just for her to be educated on the facts in order to inform the audience in a socially responsible manner.

That’s not the kind of story that belongs on Days, certainly not for a larger than life character like Paulina Price.

God, I hope so. There's so much going on right now and all the build ups and reveals could be so good if they're handled well.

It definitely should continue to be a conflict.  Eric's reaction was so mild and basically "no harm, no foul-Jude is back!"  I know it's Nicole, but he should have been more outraged and concerned.

I was thinking cancer.  I have no basis or spoilers on this.  Just a guess.  I wasn't thinking her heart just because she has been tested so many times.

Cancer? They must really not know what to do with Paulina if they’re dipping into that well. Besides, they already did this story with Abe and Lexie.

I am not a Dr, but she was feeling rundown and had a sore throat/troubling swallowing.  Those are signs of leukemia.  But it could be anything.

DAYS Two-Week Breakdown: Happy Holidays And A Worrisome New Year

Hey there, new user here. I just want to say my thoughts about this show. Right now there is really not much I like about the show at all and I'm also pretty much over the whole Eric/Nicole/Sloan storyline. I was basically done with Ericole the minute that Nicole basically manipulated Jada to terminate her pregnancy and that left such a bad taste in my mouth. And also Eric literally abandoning Nicole and Holly to go off on some stupid mission in Africa not even a year after their wedding didn't help matters. 

And there's a part of me that wishes that Nicole would just stay with E.J. somehow and not go back to Eric the minute this whole baby switch story is over. Also, did I mention how much I hate the name Jude? Bleh! Samuel would've been a better name for the kid. Hell, if they had to have the name Jude, Jude would've been better as a middle name. 

Also, I'm beyond disappointed at what has transpired with Theresa's most recent return so far. They have pretty much ruined and destroyed what used to be one of my all time favorite characters and I don't really think that there is anything to salvage her at this point. I don't even think Sheri Anderson can salvage her as a character at this point, and she's the writer that's supposedly scabbing right now. I don't know how much the Sheri Anderson thing is true but I don't think it matters regardless. 

Also if this is really the best that the writers can do with Theresa, then she should be written off the show and just never be brought back ever again. I would even be totally fine with her going to prison for the foreseeable future for all of the crap that she's pulled with Konstantin.

I really wish that Days would've just allowed Jen Lilley to film all of the scenes that she wanted to do and give her at least one scene with a SORASed Tate where Theresa decides to go back to California to focus on her burgeoning fashion business, (speaking of which, I really hate that they basically took that away from her), and have Tate stay in Salem in the meantime to spend more time with Brady. That would've been much more preferable to what we're having now.

She's just basically a worthless caricature now. I actually think the writers believe that Brady and Tate's relationship is much more important than his relationship with Theresa. They would just rather have Tate be a part of the extended Evans-Black family and nothing else. Who cares about Shane, Kim, and Eve when John, Marlena and the rest of their spawn is all that matters? Then again I'm not too surprised considering the Donovans never got a fair shake on this show anyway. Also I'm pretty sure that if Andrew wasn't gay the writers wouldn't really give a crap about him either. 

I'm sorry; it's just that the constant fawning over John/Marlena on Twitter gets on my nerves sometimes and after a while it just gets to be too much. 

Also, I'm appalled that John would even give Xander the time of day after all of the horrible things Xander did to him and his family. He, Marlena and Brady should have smoke for Xander for all time and not have anything to do with him. I really hate that Sarah is now stuck with sharing a child with Xander forever and I find myself wondering how long it will be before Sarah goes ballistic again and she and Xander will once again be on the outs. 

That's all I have for now. Don't really care for anything else on this show. 

Totally agree with Chad that Everett is like a stalker. Bruh, Stephanie said she wanted to be alone.

But I’m glad that Chad finally knows that something is up with Clyde. Still don’t see why Stefan didn’t tell him everything. The two of them teaming up together to kill Clyde could actually be pretty good. It could also somehow involve Stephanie and all the stuff that she’s going through as well. 

I liked Chad’s final scene in the square too. It proves to me even more that Billy Flynn was totally robbed at the Emmys 😂😂

I’m also glad that the show doesn’t seem to be interested in reuniting Brady and Theresa, because they have no chemistry of any kind whatsoever. They were arguing today for a little bit and I didn’t really care about it at all. But I do like that the show remembered that Theresa is an addict as well. And with Brady telling Alex about how stress can trigger a relapse, could that be foreshadowing?

Looking forward to Theresa’s scenes tomorrow though 😊😊😂

Abe/Paulina were really nice too. This is the way their storyline should have been from the beginning; the nurse crap was so unnecessary. 

As for Ava/Harris, I have mixed feelings about their scenes today. I wasn’t crazy about it but I didn’t hate it either. I’m glad that Harris and Stephanie’s drunken night is being used to drive at least some storyline.

TRUE! Eric And Nicole were never a good fit! He was meant for Greta but Since Jensen A was Leaving they chose to go with Eric being obsessed with Nicole, they could've easily scrapped that 12 Years Later When He came back portrayed by A New Actor and Being The Hot Priest, but of course they didn't have that much imagination, For me their time was over when Eric Caused Daniel's Death! EJ sucked back In The Day but Dan F's Version has simply been the perfect husband so far, loving and caring and supportive, I don't see a normal person leaving such a great marriage to return to a tormented relationship! Also I Am Hoping Nicole will Rename The Baby when it is revealed he is hers! 

However a brief Ericole Reunion could very well serve the show an reenactment of Belle's baptism many years Ago! And Help Turn Holly into the New Sami!

I am wondering How Ava Will React, She doesn't take kindly to betrayal, but it's not used to Honesty either!
