Yeah. Aanyone familiar with KS knows she's always had stories to excuse other well-known troubles. Going back decades. It's not a trade secret. And as you mentioned her latest drama always sounded like paranoid delusion to me, and her substance issues are AFAIK not new.
I hope she finally gets real, lasting help, and if she ever does and sticks to it I'd welcome her back to the show. Just as I would've loved to do for Tyler Christopher. But as for GH it's time to write Maxie out, and if necessary down the line recast. I think GH has been holding Kirsten up for years, possibly out of fear of what might happen to her without the job, and in the end I'm not sure how good it has been for her.
The only silver lining is she can no longer spin up some story this time about bad acne cream or whatever else.
