You haven't missed an episode. B&B did not air Thurs 11/23 or Fri 11/24.

I don't think anyone said this was a Friday cliffhanger.  Maybe there was a sense conveyed that this *feels like* the spirit of a classic weekend cliffhanger?

I think it was simply "we have to wait until the end of the weekend to find out what happens next".  This was  WEDNESDAY cliffhanger causing  a four-day-weekend cliffhanger!

That's what made it exciting -- the wedding starting with the bride entrance at the end of Wednesday's episode.  We viewers are all wondering, will any character interrupt or not, and we have to wait until Monday to find out.

Oh. I swear I'm not an airhead. Well, maybe depending on the pop culture. I saw a screenshot of Krista Allen and then I got really confused after that.

LOL! Now you're confusing me. Okay, I'm just gonna have to roll with it, lol! I think the reason why for my confusion was because of that screenshot. I read the quote, but somehow, it wasn't registering to me that it was Ridge asking Taylor that. If it were a screenshot of Ridge instead of Taylor, I wouldn't have been confused. I'll provide an example:

Today’s episode was classic soap. You build up a secret for months and it comes out at a wedding.  You even drag out the secret through multiple commercial segments. LOL  The music and directing was also on point with the slow zooms and quick cuts of people’s faces.

Again, why are these thirty-something year old kids trying to play The Parent Trap with their parents? It's old at this point. You mean to tell me that Steffy, with that fine a** husband, is worried about her parents reuniting? Or even Thomas? Thomas should literally be what Ridge used to be at the inception of the show--a male wh*re bedding every woman with a pulse.

And Taylor (along with Brooke) stays on the hamster wheel or yearning for Ridge. I really wish that they'd make these 50-year-old give Ridge their a**es to kiss and move along. Let him be lonely at this point.

    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!
