Cady is beyond terrible in this role. She should give back the Emmy. "Guest actress"? If she's a guest actress, why is she still on the show? A guest doesn't keep staying on the show.

Her Y&R character was... uh... best forgotten!

LOL!  It is funny how different the styling is from recast to recast (Abby being the most glaring)… it shows wardrobe has very little commitment to infusing characterization in the clothes and is probably letting the actors mostly decide.

I think this also applies to Sonny too lol

Do you think if they ever recast Marlena I would never have to see an ugly boxy blazer/pantsuit again?

Bite your tongue! 🤣🤣 What an idea.

Cady is doing some of the worst acting from a longtime soap vet I have ever seen on this show. There is no way people behind the camera or her fellow actors aren't laughing or talking [!@#$%^&*] once they get home. Embarrassing!!

She doesn't keep staying on the show. She comes back & is a guest again. If she were other, she would be either contract or recurring. It's just a category thing. Every time she leaves we have no idea when or if she will return. Some of us hope she does. Some of you hope she doesn't. Console yourself with the word temporary.

I would argue Cady is recurring and heavily recurring at that.  She's been on more than Drake Hogestyn this year I believe.  She's no longer a guest.

I would say Craig/Nancy are more like heavily used guests unless their stay is lengthened.

Well, I beg your pardon. Color me corrected. I am surprised about Drake. Live & learn. Sorry, folks, I had my hat on backwards!

Well, no worries.  Jen as a character has been on more than Drake not specifically Cady, but it will be close. So I am wrong about that lol.  I actually did look it up.  But.. with the length of time she's been on and the amount of stories I would still say recurring.  Nancy/Craig have actually been on more than John and Jen this year, but it's basically for one story arc so I would still consider them guests.  But that's just me.

Cady's Emmy win for Guest Performer was for a four-month arc in 2020-21. She came in, played the role for a specific time, and left. She wouldn't qualify for that category since she's returned. The whole thing is pretty murky, anyway, but anyone not on contract and appearing in multiple episodes is technically "recurring."

Thnx. I think I see now. So, it would seem like they came up with the category when they knew they wanted to add it to the Emmys?

Okay, I'm not worried. When Betty White was on B&B was she a Guest Performer? Just curious.

I just can't deal with you Tonksadora. You're all over the place. You quote yourself and tell yourself that you are wrong. You're all over the place.

Well, actually it was my intent to tell YOU that I had been all wrong. I thought you were entitled to know that I had spoken out of turn. And I apologize. To you. Not to me. I'm done now & will go back to being in only one place at a time.
