What terrible news.

She was just 37 :( I loved her on Atwt. I know people seem to hate Atwt’s final Years But Alison/Marnie made me fall in love with Atwt again and her on screen chemistry with all the others.

I am absolutely shocked.

Rest In Peace Marnie Schulenburg.

Today would have been her 38th birthday.

Seems like yesterday when she first joined the show. I always liked how well she fit in onscreen with Masters and Menighan Hensley.

Today she would've turned 38.

Doesn’t it?

I know folks hated her but I really had enjoyed Jessica Dunphy in the role, mainly because she had reminded me of a young Alison Sweeney and it’s ironic as Sheffer basically created a Sami clone in Alison on ATWT when he later on Days he wanted Sami to become his Katie, to disastrous results 🥴

It took me a while to warm up to Marnie, but after that heartbreaking  confession scene when Emily and Alison had to fess up to Susan about the prostitution and meth addiction while bringing Agim Kaba’s Aaron into the fold and not a recast had me sold. I hated Alison got tangled up in baby nonsense and a recycled triangle with a bad Chris recast and Aaron, but I enjoyed Marnie’s chemistry with Billy Magnussen’s Casey a lot that final year.

This is so sad. I enjoyed her as Alison, and I really just loved that the Stewarts were present as a family unit again. So much more could have been done with them, but that's neither here nor there. Marnie, Marie, and Kelley were a great trio.
