I’m sure she is a nice lady but the casting of Montgomery sounds like one of those MAB era casting of D-list celebs from the 70s and 80s in roles. 
 

And the idea of Mari Jo returning is intriguing but knowing this show at the moment the idea is probably already DOA. 

Julia Montgomery was interviewed in SOD.  She makes it clear that she's appearing for only one episode and her character is a real estate agent. It's just a dayplayer role.  (And she's also a real estate agent in real life.)

She's definitely not the woman in the promo.

If Julia/Tanya is only on for the day I wonder what the point of the character is?

Y&R avoids having dayplayers like the plague so you would think this character would have some importance.

Maybe she'll reveal the name of the owner of the LA house, which could lead somewhere.

A thought- John Abbott -Jack will discover his father knew about Allie's existence!

How DARE you call the lady who played Betty Childs in the "Revenge of the Nerds" films a D-list celebrity? 

A friend of mine mentioned the possibility of Keemo being alive and I dismissed it at first, but my mind started going and I could see it happening. This mysterious woman could be Mary Jo Mason, or someone else, but there’s a good chance whoever she is could be Allies mom. The entire story has been shrouded in the mystery of these texts, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Keemo is secretly alive and someone is hiding that from Jack. 
 

Also, Phillip Moon was doing that tell all interview which was suddenly “rescheduled” (with no new date) the day of. 

It's likely not but, Susan Walter's liked the promo on Instagram. Maybe Diane somehow survived getting her head bashed in. 🤣
