One of those collectibles for sale sites

Just posted it because I came across it and Ron/Nancy pics are rare. Hope fans of 70's Y&R would enjoy it.

Agree that Adam is a bit useless at this point. They had a chance when he came back as Grossman to reboot the character but before long he was back to trying to bump off Victor etc

Sally/Nick.

Sally/Chance.

Sally/Noah.

Just 3 possibilities that would stir up stuff.

Adam's lingering animosity toward Victor is not only unmotivated, it's also tired af now.

I've said before I'd be down for Sally/Nick. Lots of trouble could come from that.

I remember thinking when I saw a scene of Chelsea and Noah together that they should go there. Again, it would stir things up. Sharon, Adam, Nick would go crazy and just imagine Victor.

It was the natural progression from Sally’s feud with Phyllis. And it was laying there on a plate. And it’s not like Nick has anything better to do right now.

Now Phyllis is talking about leaving Genoa City to take a job working with her daughter at Marchetti in Milan.

C’mon, writers, don’t threaten us with a good time.

If they need to take Phyllis in a new direction, get her a brand new man that's a brand new character. It would open up so many storyline possibilities. There are plenty of talented actors out there to pair her with:

Trevor St. John

Mark Pinter

Matthew Ashford (if he's recurring on Days)

Kamar de los Reyes

Ted King

Dan Gauthier

I never thought I'd say this, especially after all the talk we've had about it in other threads, but...I think there's a way you could sell people on Phyllis finding love with another woman.

God, @Darn.  Chloe's moved past it.  Why can't you?

So just like that the story of Devon trying to get shared custody of Devon is wrapped up AND the baby gets named Winters as well.

This damn show.

Winters??? I thought his name was Dominic? Or is his name now Dominic Abbott Newman Chancellor Winters? Do they want this kid to turn into Captain Planet? This whole story is so weird!

    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
    • Luna parachutes herself into Llanview at the end of September 15th 1991.
    • That lengthy flashback does make me wonder if she threw out a lot, but I agree it may have been too easy an urban legend. Would these have been her very first episodes? I imagine you could feel the big difference when Bobbie arrived, alongside the Quartermaines filing in, the return of Heather, and Lesley/Rick/Monica/Alan heating up. It does remind me that there must have been some dud moments in the 60-minute format we just don't see because little of the period is available in full.  I wonder how much longer the Dantes lasted under Marland.  David Hamilton is so disgusting. I appreciate the show making him disgust as some shows when they have stories about older men or women manipulating teens aren't as honest.  I can't see this Rick being friends with him. Chris Robinson's Rick, on the other hand, I could believe.
    • One more question, do you know the start date for Luna? If it’s close that maybe I’ll start there to be fair.
