I didn't watch at the time but I've seen clips of where he takes Bridget's virginity while he makes Eric and Brooke listen on the other end of the phone and honestly... iconic. 

Wonder how long before Bell gets bored of him.

Problem is you can't build a daily soap on "moments".

Deacon was fun in his original go-around and I did like his brief time on Y&R with Nikki, but overall his returns have been ehhh ... Brad will tire of him like he always does.

He's been the garbage man on too many storylines of this soap.  Come to think about it, GH didn't do much for this actor either.

Sean Kanan's original stints at Deacon were great. His crossover to The Young and the Restless, while tiring, was also great. But since then? Keep it. Kanan is becoming a prop by Bradley Bell, much like Kimberlin Brown.

There was a lot of promise when he returned in 2012, but Ron Carlivati went against his word and completely wrecked the character, and then immediately returned the role of Jason Morgan.

I agree Kanan is becoming a prop for Brad, along with Kimberlin. It's clear he's flying by the seat of his pants with no real long-term plan, IMO.
