As previously announced on October 31, 2025, the SON Community will go offline for an extended period starting at midnight EST on November 20, 2025, to upgrade the forum software to its latest version. This includes a quick update to the latest version under the IP4 series before a significant upgrade to IP5.

Upon completion, the message boards will undergo a design overhaul, including how the forum is displayed, the forums themselves, the display of topics, and the system for posting.

This upgrade/update is expected to take no more than a few hours.
