and I have NO desire to see another Dupree(by extension) get cheated on -
DH is really hitting all the right notes with this, even down to her hair. Like Marlena seems tired, exhausted physically and emotionally.

Yeah they have no younger generation that are basically related to one another cause of Liam. Finn was amazing today! Sinn out there proving why they're a Super Couple(I don't GAF if someone thinks they are or not lol) Sheila throwing Luna under the bus to Deacon LMAO. -
It's definitely a choice for them to do a story based on the Supremes for this show. Is MVJ a big fan or something?

I've seen writers producing poor scripts for primetime TV and movies before, but not to the same overwhelming degree as in daytime TV. They generally don't get hired by everyone else under the sun once their initial work bombs big-time. On soaps, even the worst of the worst stay in the same positions for YEARS. -
Personally, I'm not feeling a Kat/Jacob pairing. To start, Jacob doesn't need to be with another goody 2 shoes, his character can do dull all by himself. While Kat does have a bit more sass than her cousin Naomi, she is still very polished and play by the rules. Now, Eva and Jacob, I can get on board with. Only another reason for Kat to hate Eva. Eva can also bring out another side of Jacob. Second reason I'm not feeling it is that the Bill and Ter already cheated on their wives...do we need Kat stealing her cousin's man too. While great drama, I don't want anymore Duprees in some cheating scandal or dating family members...at least not yet.

Agreed. Is there any other entertainment genre (past or present) where anything similar has occurred time after time? Primetime dramas? Comedy? Westerns? Horror? Sci-Fi? Variety shows? Radio? Why is daytime drama plagued by this idiocy, while other entertainment genres seem to have avoided it??
