He happens to be in Chicago on a business trip and he phones Sally from there. He tells Sally he has some information about Kyle, and he says that since he's nearby he'll just come to Genoa City to tell her about it. The downside is the show weirdly let Kyle & Summer have a victory lap for no reason at all after all that went into Kyle & Lola as well as Summer’s paranoia and acting like her mom. Kyle and Summer have never had a spark of chemistry whatsoever no matter who’s playing them.
