I must admit I didn't know who she was until I read that she was in one of my favorite films, Fiddler On The Roof. She played the ghost of Fruma Sarah, Lazar Wolf's dead wife, who was part of Tevye's "dream" sequence.

Oh God. There are just no words. We are losing so many people and so many of them are at young ages.

Life is really tough for a number of people right now. Even personally, I can attest to this. You truly never know what someone is enduring these days.

He was such a generous performer, to the point where it seemed as though he might have ceded the spotlight a bit to others on stage at times. This is one of the pieces where he really shined, literally and figuratively. Such a fun performance. He really was one of the most memorable dancers on that show.

The comments that are so judgmental and critical of the person in the wake of a suicide is striking. I will never understand some people’s constant need to judge what goes on behind closed doors or in a person’s consciousness without having ever having had a conversation with that person. It baffles me how people can make the most vitriolic toxic judgements based on what they believe they know about people. Bizarre.

TCM has just uploaded its annual TCM Remembers retrospective for 2022. Anne Heche is included, as are Ray Liotta and Mitchell Ryan, who also had soap ties before (and after - in Ryan's case!) they made it "big":

That was well done. I especially liked the syncing of the bass notes from the Twin Peaks theme (for the Angelo Badalamenti clip) with those from the song.

So many losses this year.

Feels like we’ve had a lot of British singers dying in their 60s recently.

He co-wrote “Our Lips Are Sealed” with his then-girlfriend, Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go’s, and Fun Boy Three had a UK hit with their own very different version:
