Soleil Moon-Frye and Cherie Johnson remain close IRL so the show probably could get Cherie on the show as well.  They could probably get a good number of the original kid cast to make appearances.

That's great. I always liked the friendships on Punky Brewster. Last I heard of Cherie was some Instragam video yelling about somebody's dog being left on her doorstep so I'm glad she's going to be back in acting.

I will watch this, this show tugs more on my heart than say Full House. Henry and Grandma will be missed.

For a second there, I didn’t recognize Freddie Prinze, Jr. and thought why is Punky with this old man? Did Mr. Warnimont give her a complex? Then I realized Freddie has gone into full-on daddy mode at 44, and it works for him. Soleil looks amazing.

I hope they updated the original series' theme song for this revival.  That song was one of the best ever.
