Never mind the fact that you two were married to other people at the time, right? Yeesh.
Members janea4old
Jon Stewart returning to the Daily Show (hosting once a week to help make sense of the 2024 election) And as executive producer. https://www.vulture.com/article/jon-stewart-the-daily-show-return-2024.html Starting February 12, Jon Stewart will host The Daily Show every Monday to see the show through to the end of the 2024 election cycle. The show’s team of correspondents will share hosting duties for the rest of each week. Stewart will also serve as an executive producer and help the show decide on a new, more permanent direction. Members DRW50
Between this and the long puff piece in Politico about Charlamagne and his latest disillusionment with Democrats, the game here isn't very subtle.
Members Vee
The media is overplaying their hand on this one with the voters too early. Again. Edited January 24, 2024 by Vee
Members Khan
We have a serious problem in this country when it comes to age. Biden and Trump should be disqualified to run or run again, because they're "too old"? Say what!?
Members DRW50
The media has been relentlessly attacking Biden on this subject since the '20 primary, while presenting Trump as sharp, brave, and witty beyond human understanding. You can sense just how unhappy they are to have to admit that he is in real decline...so of course it has to be "both sides bad." SNL also made sure to start the last Weekend Update off with a torturous segment along these lines. What's going to make this whole con job even more desperate is that they can no longer brag they are getting any ratings boost out of their Trump obsession. The interest is not there this time around. It's just flat out carrying water for the moneymen. Members I Am A Swede
To be perfectly honest, I do think those who say that have a point. I don't think it's really desirable to have people in their late 70s or early 80s in such a demanding and stressful job.

Members Vee
"Centrist" media startup The Messenger, plagued by layoffs and BTS drama for months, has collapsed with almost zero warning to staff and no severance along with the entire website nuked. Thread: A gossipy Puck piece full of commentary from Puck and Axios staff (both as equally vapid as The Messenger) unfolds here (archived to bypass paywall). In more startling news, I did not know that Jeff Zucker, perpetually eager for a comeback, is attempting to buy the Daily Telegraph in the UK with Saudi money which he hotly insists will not bias his coverage.
