Due to Twitter being so difficult for anyone to read now if they aren't on the site (or even then) I can't really post the links, but there's been days-long meltdown from a deeply disturbed writer at Current Affairs (the "left" publication that fired many of its workers when they wanted a co-op, and whose gadfly head was deeply involved in coaching Tara Reade), as her attacking the Buttigiegs and their kids led to a rabbit hole of "Matthew Shepard was killed in a drug deal gone bad," propaganda, pedo apologias, belittling and doubting a woman who was raped due to the claim that she didn't want to have anal sex, a long history of ranting and raving about the horrors of gay marriage and how evil white gay men sicced their dogs on her, and how she is "politically queer," which apparently from various comments made by people who know her, and by her own incoherent screeds, means that she only sleeps with men and has no interest in women, but just feels queer.

All of this stuff is a great reminder, if any was ever needed these days, or just how virulently homophobic so many on the left are, even if they mask it in fancier language than their friends on the right.

What an appalling man. I don’t regret leaving Twitter last year.

I won’t judge those who have elected to stay but I just couldn’t allow that man to capitalize in any way off my intellectual property. He and his apartheid mentality suck.

Maybe the content of the article is better than the stupid headline but I just don’t care enough to read the actual article.

Most books about Trump are steeped in the scandalous years of his administration and often goes further back in time than that. Obama wrote his own books and those were best sellers but most books about Obama that were written by other writers didn’t do such big business either. When it’s time for Biden to write his own post presidency book, that will likely do well. Too many of these other books are rushed to press for a cash grab anyway.

I didn't read the article either. I posted the tweet mostly because about as honest as I've seen the Beltway be about why they hate Biden and want him to lose. He doesn't make them money on book deals and there also isn't an in-house group who buy the books in bulk as often happens with the GOP.

It's a pretty much a porn site now with escorts, influencers, Onlyfans models captailizing off the  bot algorithm to get paid off that tweet mention revenue that he started up a few months ago.

    • Nope still in development. ABC/Disney are having their upfronts today though, so there's a very slight hope we might get an update.
    • Has anyone ever posted January and February 1974? I can't find them in the 'Look Back to 75' thread. Thanks.
    • Did January and February 1974 DSN ever get posted? I can't seem to find it in this thread.
    • I agree. Especially after SilkPress got back to her apartment and started to mock Nicole. Her dislike for Nicole and seeing her as a threat to her getting Teddy Bear is growing worse. So I could see her pulling a kidnapping on Nicole at some point. If anything she was going there to poke the bear and got pressed (pun unintended) when the bear gathered her.   Completely understandable.

    • I swear this entire time I thought Roman knew about the Phillip/Vivian letter lol.  I do like how mature Roman/Kate are as a couple.  It makes me sad the new writers never got a chance to write for John/Marlena. I agree with @AbcNbc247 that the Felicity stuff is a bit after school special-y.  I am pretty sure that (most) of the viewing audience is aware that a grown man should not be shouting at any teenage girl especially one with disabilities.  Just let Xander apologize and move on. Linsey Godfrey was in her Sarah baby voice mode today and it irritates me to no end.   I know it's a cutesy thing her and Xander do but it's annoying. Bringing Kevin back is strange, but I do like the use of history.  I do think Rex probably could have been used instead, but whatever.  I don't care about Rex much either lol.
    • I mean over the past decades. But I do agree that in recent years now, the writing is not working for them as well as it used to then. It's same old, same old...which is what made the Damian storyline refreshing. At least for me.
    • Did Denise give any interviews where she talked about her first few years on GH... '73-75? I wonder if she had any regrets leaving Days for GH, as from what I've read, the show was in the dumps writing-wise, so am thinking she didn't have great story? Any Leslie story highlights I've seen always start with '76, after Gloria Monty took charge.
