#6 would be CBS didn't have a lot else. Which is also the main reason for its revival, most likely.

I just saw an article on Variety that confirms that Faith Ford, Joe Regalbuto and Grant Shaud are back as their characters. Corky, Frank, and Miles!

I'm a huge Miles Silverburg fan and the show was dead for me after he left. So...this is basically gonna be like a real season 9 to me. Haha.

Nothing on Charles Kimbrough (Jim) yet.

I saw that Kimbrough is 81 and is not well enough for a full-time return, but they are working on one-off appearances.

He may be well, health wise (or not, do we really know?), but work wise he may not be able to handle the full time work. I imagine he'll pop up, unless his health is truly bad (again we don't know).

I agree with Ryan. I loved Miles and after he left it wasn't the same for me. I looooooove Lily Tomlin but the show went a couple years too long.

I totally blocked out Tomlin being on Murphy Brown. It’s unbelievable that the show was on as late as 1998 (!), meaning that it almost lasted for the entirety of the Clinton administration. To me, the show was such a relic of the George H.W. Bush era.

I loved Lily Tomlin on the show as Kay. But it definitely ran a bit too long.

The article also mentions Nik Dodani, who's great and was in a project I just worked on, playing the team's social media director - glad to see him keeping busy.

For one, I don't think he's all that great of an actor.  But also, and it's probably just me, but whenever I come across him on TV, I always have the impression that the guy probably bathe much IRL.
