Lauren’s oldest son, Scott Grainger, is returning to Genoa City, but this time the character will be played by Daniel Hall, who once appeared on GUIDING LIGHT as Jack in 2009. His other credits include MAD MEN, GRACELAND and QUARRYScott was last seen in 2006 and was then portrayed by Blair Redford (ex- Miguel, PASSIONS).  Even though Hall is already taping scenes, Y&R is keeping mum about storyline details as well as his first air date.

They really should ask Susan Seaforth Hayes to do some guest appearances or a guest stint as Lauren's mother as well.

I feel Joanna should have had the role Gloria is currently playing in this story...

That's a good move.  I'm hoping more next gen legacy characters are on their way back too.  We need more young on Y&R

I'm excited to hear this. Better late than never I guess. I'm just amazed MAB never ushered the character in.

I wonder if this means the shadow of a former nurse will be cast over GC soon ;)

I'm excited for this as well. Not only should he be in town given Lauren's current story, but the show needs more children of legacy characters in town.

He's handsome, can't wait to see him. He'd look good with Sharon.

I think so too.  I'm hoping for a re-cast Chance. Although I hate that nickname, they should just call him Phillip Chancellor if they aren't planning on having P3 return.

It's about time! Though I agree that I wish he were slightly younger, but oh well...Scotty should have been on canvas for years already...

Agree. I also hope we get Chance back as well. I'm not a big fan of the nickname either.

We can't judge how he looks from that picture. It's possible the actor shaved and got a haircut

I saw his acting reel. He can pass for mid 30's.
