I just can't take the show very seriously. I dip in and out to various seasons and portions depending on their proximity to Knots Landing crossovers. I think I'm still exploring Season 6 atm. I do think it was clear in the opening mini/Season 1 that Victoria Principal was to be a lead and was very strong then; the character is almost immediately neutered after and becomes all about Bobby and babies, as far as I've seen. Miss Ellie just gives a lot of heavy sighs and mournful looks, but I do like her with Clayton Farlow. It's more fluff for me to watch vs. KL.

https://www.dallasnews.com/business/real-estate/2022/10/24/legendary-southfork-ranch-sells-to-north-texas-community-developer/

Although the fictional Ewing clan departed the property decades ago, Southfork has continued to be a tourist draw, with the centerpiece mansion used for events and conferences.

New owner Centurion American — one of the largest home community developers in North Texas — plans to use part of the 241-acre property in the town of Parker for a new neighborhood of custom homes.

Thanks For The Info! IN those pics she looks like Someone J.R. Might've bedded, It would've been nice if they tried her on "The Ewing needs good publicity" Storylines, Instead of That useless Character played by The Great Susan Flannery or Stephanie Rip-off Rodgers by Lesley Ann Down (Look Both Of Massimo's Women were on Dallas).

    • The first couple of days will hold a modicum of interest as we finally see a new setting. The Nice set will probably have a few rooms and a fake looking 'outdoor' area. I'm sure they'll go with the cliched look that screams South of France. Then we will be subjected to endless talky scenes. What little budget there is has probably been put toward paying for the new set. So they'll want to get their money's worth. Meanwhile back in today's GC it's the usual chat fest at restaurants. No one works despite most convos being about business.
    • FALSE!!! She was never cute or precocious or adorable.
    • I’m pretty sure Billy is leaving because at Y&R he will get more episodes per week, more money per episode, a slower production schedule, a new role to tackle and a bigger audience.
    • Just watched her on the GH Live channel on Prime Video last night... she was a cute kid, and then starting growing up, and the allure wore off QUICK!
    • Good God, she literally looks like a wicked witch here. Warts and all.

    • Henry did write Draper as a series but sweet romantic lawyer and had an opportunity with the not too inspired Emily/Kirk plot to change Draper's personality (Ala Jason Quartermaine on GH) but Tony quit a while after that story was resolved which Henry may have know about and Terry Davis got pregnant so he gave them a happily ever after (off screen). But Tony often flubbed his lines too; he didn't come across as a multi talented actor in the vein of Joel Crothers who aced absolutely everything Henry gave him to do.
    • And Violet's.....

I am sure Frank's been missing her lisp and singing.
    • I have a feeling if he does return, they will move him on to someone they see as fresher (like Sasha). Just depends on whether ABC folds.
    • Aiyiyiyi!!! Thanks. See that now but what I thought I saw before, obviously, DAYS. These IV drugs I'm taking are killing me. My brain is negatively affected. Things don't taste right. I'm smelling things that are not there. Etc.
    • The only thing is that the Victoria/Ashland wedding of a few summers back felt like months, to me at least. So this summer it's the Dumas fête. I noticed that one of us, ranger1rg, has predicted the following... It could go like that. But it also could be more like a repeat of Victoria/Ashland, only this time, I could see it feeling like the better part a year. (For example, we'll see all of them unpacking their suitcases and choosing several ensembles to wear for several evenings of the party. Then each Y&R regular attending the party gets introduced, plus a few new people, but not Dumas, of course. Then various invitees make speeches to compliment other invitees. Blah, blah, blah... And ultimately, we may or may not see Dumas on camera at some point.) The only prediction I feel really comfortable making is that the length of the party will NOT be a "happy medium."
