If they had timed it right and had the period where Ray felt he was not worthy of Donna and Pam feeling vulnerable that she was unable to have a child with Bobby, they should have had Ray and Pam rekindle their prior relationship. The affair would result in Pam getting pregnant and having Ray's child. It would have opened up a whole new dynamic in the Ewing family. Maybe even have Pam and Ray married for a while. Pam could have gotten back to her roots and building herself into a stronger person. The way she was before the Ewings damaged her.

Even Victoria doesn't know how old she is! I recall Linda Grey saying she always enjoyed going to Victoria's 39th birthday party...

Dallas goes off the rails in the aftermath of Pamela disappearance and was effectively over with Sue Ellen departure. The final two seasons were a waste of time and they only happened because CBS was

Working my way through the 1986-87 season, and what in the blue blazes (or rather, purple blazes) did Sue Ellen wear to Bobby & Pam's wedding?

Morgan Fairchild Reveals Why She Turned Down a Full-Time...

The star opens up about her relationship with Larry Hagman and her return to 'Bold and the Beautiful.'

I didn't know Morgan was asked to reprise the role of Jenna. I wonder if that would have made her run more interesting. I think the character was at a dead end no matter what, but Morgan Fairchild is always more interesting to watch than Priscilla Presley (aside from those Naked Gun films).

I agree. I feel like Jenna would have been an entirely different character had she remained in the role.

Reusing the tender music from the end of "Paternity Suit" throughout "High Noon for Calhoun" is certainly a choice. I'm guessing they never used that music during the TNT series.

I crack up at that promo pic of Miss Ellie pointing her finger at J.R.

Victoria was beautiful. I wish she hadn't screwed with her hair later on. Thanks Jhirmack.

Ken Kercheval aged quickly after about the third season.

Steve Kanaly had to laugh for them putting him in heavy denim cutoffs to go swimming. I guess they thought Ray would wear jeans at all times even in the pool. I can imagine the rash.

In that pic of Kanaly, Tilton, and Kercheval....Kanaly has a bit of a stubble beard. He should have let that grown in fully. It would have given him a totally new look than the generic clean cut look of the other men in the cast.

Patrick Duffy (Bobby) and Chris Demetral (Christopher) filming a scene for the reunion movie J.R. Returns in 1996. This scene was filmed at the original Preston Hollow mansion in Dallas, the home used for the interior of Southfork Ranch and replicated on the MGM sound stages in California back in 1978.

I was always surprised that producers never had country singer Johnny Lee appear on Dallas. He was married to Charlene Tilton at the time and had a big hit with "Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places" that was in the film "Urban Cowboy". They had a daughter Cherish together. Charlene said she was pregnant with her when she was doing the abortion storyline and she was afraid to go all in in fear of something happening during her pregnancy.

I recognize Joanna Cameron who played Isis in the first segment. I think that is Susan Howard in the second segment sitting in the chair.

Southfork exterior set at Stage 23 at MGM Studios in California. Stage 23 is the only working Dallas stage still standing at the studio, now known as Sony Studios.

The exterior set always looked fake. You could see the studio lights reflected on the cars and the overall feel didn't match the on location shoots.
