One question to RJ: So $B is evil because he was married to Katie and wants to marry Brooke, but Widge is a saint because he was married to Brooke, but wanted to marry Katie?

Eric and Quinn have been engaged one day and already they are having their wedding? Why does no one on this show beleive in engagements. A guy asks someone to get married and they are planning the wedding within 2 days.  Same deal with Brooke and Bill before she postponed it bc of RJ. Everyone on this show always rushes into marriage

Haven't watched in 2 weeks but upcoming plot for 2 days.   Zende wants to be like Maya and the anthem from what I read -  and he'll do a Vine that could go VIRAL.  Air these videos and Brad Bell looks brilliant. Yawwwwwwwn

Missed yesterday's show and watched about a min of today's. That was enough for me to give up this pathetic soap!  From RJ saying how good he did by breaking up Brooke to the entire family looking like fools to Grandpa Eric and Quinn planning a 30 min wedding was ridiculous and the last straw....Bye B&B....wont miss The Liam Show and Co.

Liam wasnt even involved in either of these episodes!

RJ acting like a brat wanting his parents back together. I dont get it as he's never experienced his parents married. The one time they were legally married, Ridge dumped her during the honeymoon

Rick needs to have a sit-down with RJ to remind him of all the horrible things Widge did to Brooke. It's very forced and it's actually a bit disturbing that Brooke is being 'traded' to $B for those shares. Brooke announceds $B was her 'destiny' just a couple of weeks ago. It's just NOT possible that Brooke will announce her 'true' destiny to Widge before Nov sweeps. Nah, Brad would never do that to Brooke. ;) RJ clearly has stepparent issues as Brooke slid in that RJ stayed away because of Caroline.

I'm sure he'll be back really soon!

I had the TV on to CBS for napping background noise...LOL and who pops up but Winsor Harmon. He looked bored as hell to be back...LOL. So much wasted opportunities with his character.

Eric just sent out the email wdding invitation....how the HELL did Thorne get in LA that fast from Paris?

Im glad they finally got Zende involved in this Quinn mess. He's representing his absentee mother

Yesterday Quinn said that this is probably the first time that Eric has been disrespected. Clearly she wasnt around for the Stephanie years

I thought why in the hell is he there? And then I thought Cheap must be happy...LOL   Id rather see his mom than him.

Another character that has been ignored for years.

I love how Stephanie is being portrayed as the Queen of all Class and Virtue - especially when the primary leaders to dethrone Eric aren't even related to him because of Stephanie's deception. It's a good thing that people like Pam have never done anything crazy. Watching those sanctimonious hypocrites today made me root for Eric for the first time since he dumped the conniving shrew to marry Brooke.

Wyatt has missed 8 episodes so far this month, and Liam about 11. I suppose that's the positive in Quinn taking center stage.

Then again, I never had anything against Quinn. Rena delivers, even though the character could have been developed in a different manner. However, this is a Bradley Bell written show, so it's not really surprising.

Looks like R.J. is on contract.

    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
    • Luna parachutes herself into Llanview at the end of September 15th 1991.
    • That lengthy flashback does make me wonder if she threw out a lot, but I agree it may have been too easy an urban legend. Would these have been her very first episodes? I imagine you could feel the big difference when Bobbie arrived, alongside the Quartermaines filing in, the return of Heather, and Lesley/Rick/Monica/Alan heating up. It does remind me that there must have been some dud moments in the 60-minute format we just don't see because little of the period is available in full.  I wonder how much longer the Dantes lasted under Marland.  David Hamilton is so disgusting. I appreciate the show making him disgust as some shows when they have stories about older men or women manipulating teens aren't as honest.  I can't see this Rick being friends with him. Chris Robinson's Rick, on the other hand, I could believe.
