I never watched AMC but he is awful on Days. So bland and no chemistry with his co-stars. He is just as much of a problem as the writing for Deimos.

I dont disagree with this. They should have killed Deimos for real when he fell into that river. I cant beleie they are trying to write a romance with he and Nicole

Well, of course, it looks good when you take the 10 best scenes from the next 80 episodes (four months). Any show would look great. If only they could maintain a quarter of that type of energy 

Actually, I think most of that is for end of August and September. So, it's stuff from around the next 20-25 episodes.

That's better, but still. I really hope they can make the show more entertaining because every time I tune in - it's usually slow and boring. 

I never got the love for Xander but it looks fun, compared to the dreck of the last how many months. I'll take some sort of action.

 

Also nice that they brought Orpheus back, so I wonder how that will be handled.

 

Don't care about Clyde but towards the end of his run I started to get into him as a villain. I'm all for him plugging Kate at this point. She's so directionless and expendable at this point, which sucks.

 

We also have Nancy and Laura back at some point. I keep hearing conflicting things on when Shane/Kim actually start appearing. I thought it would be for August/Sept but apparently they didn't start taping until May which puts them into November for airing. And apparently Shawn and Belle are sticking around after they leave. Belle too, Deidre apparently spilled that one.

It wouldn't be DAYS w/o bringing back someone from the dead.  But, yes, I had wondered the same about Orpheus, too.  (Also, how [!@#$%^&*] random is it to bring back Orpheus?  Who's next?  Kellam Chandler?)

Orpheus wasn't even mentioned since '86? I guess they need a new supervillain now that Stefano is dead and the writing for Andre has been horrible.

I don't think an Orpheus return is random. People have been clamouring for it to happen for years upon years. That's not to say it won't be absolute crap, however. All I wonder is how long it'll take before they inevitably ruin his legacy, too. And are we still asking logical questions concerning a DAYS plot? What is the point?

Very very true. If memory serves......Orpheus had it out for Roman (right after DH took over the role) because Roman had shot and killed a lady love of Orpheus' by mistake. So how much of that will now be thrown out?

Orpheus is long overdue! He should have returned in 2002 when those twins surfaced, he and Marlena should have been their parents versus Roman & Kate. I know it's pushing it, but I need Orpheus to explain how Marlena ended up in Stefano's care (Hell I need Ernesto to explain that about Hope and Lawrence to explain that about Patch!). 

Days does a horrible job at returning characters...Kristins return was botched...apparently everyone knew she was alive after the body in the pool...that sucked took away everything they had done....and now Orpheus in jail after he was shot and killed...days sucks at story has for the last 10 years...THE NEW SEASON should be called its LAST SEASON
