I wanted to check in here and say I really like this show. I was so so happy Jack hasn't been taken away well just yet and wish they would not take him away. I'm watching shows I missed due to me having some personal things get in the way of me being able to make time for watching all the shows. I really like the show and all the characters.

I am very happy for him. He does a wonderful job in this role, and I think this Emmy is well deserved. I am looking forward to Season 2 of this show.

In real life: Milo Ventimiglia loses his home to the January 2025 Los Angeles fires ...
in eerie reflection of Jack Pearson's on-screen tragedy.
Ventimigilia had previously used his ThisIsUs fame to advocate for fire safety in homes.
Now he plans to educate about wildfires.

January 2025:

Mandy Moore's husband is musician Taylor Goldsmith
Mandy posted on IG that their property was destroyed in the L.A. area fires.
She's in Altadena, so it was the Eaton Fire.
They were able to evacuate safely with their children.

Mandy said that her husband and his brother had a music studio on the property, and this music studio was completely destroyed.
Most of other structures on Mandy's property are gone.

Mandy said that her main house is mostly still standing but is unlivable.

Some in-laws have lost their home.

She said that her children's school was destroyed in the fire.

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.
