Character Catchphrases?

Featured Replies

Can you remember any soap character(s) having their own catchphrase (or common saying(s))?

I can think of Erica's "I AM Erica Kane!", or "Well, my goodness...".

Victor Newman: "You got that?"

Kay Chancellor: "Dear God in Heaven"

Ridge Forrester: "Doc" for Taylor, "Logan" for Brooke

Stephanie Forrester: Slut, whore, tramp, bitch (all for Brooke). I kid. Well...

It's not a phrase but IMO Viki Buchanan's pronunciation of "at all" is a classic.

Adam Chandler's "What in blazes...." and his use of "blasted" as a swear word. "What in blazes is that blasted woman up to now?"

I loved how Robert Scorpio answered the phone "Scorpio". He never said "Hello" like most people.

Susan Caine or whatever her last name is: "Mean mean mean"

British soaps tended to do this for a long time, especially Corrie. One character, Fred Elliot, constantly called people by their full names ("Elizabeth" rather than "Liz," etc.) and started every sentence with, "I say," or, "I said."

I can only think of nicknames.

Bo calling Hope Fancy Face.

Roman calling Marlena Doc.

Luke calling Laura Angel.

Ashley Abbott -- "Jackie" (loved when she used to call Jack that)

John Abbott -- "Now my goodness" (it seems to me he used to say that rather often)

Maggie Kiriakis -- "Oh my!"

Don't forget about "my beauty."

Always icked me out.
