January 28, 201511 yr Member Can you remember any soap character(s) having their own catchphrase (or common saying(s))? I can think of Erica's "I AM Erica Kane!", or "Well, my goodness...". Edited January 28, 201511 yr by Pine Charles
January 28, 201511 yr Member It's not a phrase but IMO Viki Buchanan's pronunciation of "at all" is a classic.

January 28, 201511 yr Member Adam Chandler's "What in blazes...." and his use of "blasted" as a swear word. "What in blazes is that blasted woman up to now?"
January 28, 201511 yr Member I loved how Robert Scorpio answered the phone "Scorpio". He never said "Hello" like most people.
January 28, 201511 yr Member Susan Caine or whatever her last name is: "Mean mean mean" British soaps tended to do this for a long time, especially Corrie. One character, Fred Elliot, constantly called people by their full names ("Elizabeth" rather than "Liz," etc.) and started every sentence with, "I say," or, "I said." January 28, 201511 yr Member I can only think of nicknames. Bo calling Hope Fancy Face. Roman calling Marlena Doc. Luke calling Laura Angel.
January 28, 201511 yr Author Member I thought of another... Marian Colby's "daaah-ling" (a la Tallulah Bankhead).
January 28, 201511 yr Member Ashley Abbott -- "Jackie" (loved when she used to call Jack that) John Abbott -- "Now my goodness" (it seems to me he used to say that rather often) Maggie Kiriakis -- "Oh my!"
