I don't think Julia is generally disliked at all, maybe on this board, but not so everywhere. I'm very glad Sydney Penny was brought back as Julia. I wish AMC would keep Natalia Cigliuti as Anita, hopefully Rosa will be brought back. I wish Alana de la Garza would come back, she wasn't right as a teen, but would be good as a 20-something.

I also think Isabella should be brought back with original Isabella Soccorro Santiago recurringly and maybe bring back Matéo as well.

I don't hate Julia, I just don't feel any certain way about her, to me she just blends in the background alot. Sydney's a good actress, but Julia does nothing important IMO.

I wish they'd actually use these people! I didnt mind her.

I have always been a Julia and Sydney Penny fan. I was a bit miffed about her big return storyline.... but once that was overwith I am back to fully loving Julia again. She has been so good comforting Simone.... I maybe me in the minority but I actually like Ryan and Julia and want them to hook up. I don't give a damn about Julia and David.... I want Di for David and always have

I wouldn't mind Julia and Ryan, they should do Julia/Ryan/Simone, Julia already acts like she has feelings for Ryan.

David and Di are better than Di and Tad

I think that the show can use the Santos family if done correctly. I mean, the show doesn't need Maria (though I miss her big tetas..... ). Julia, Mateo & Anita can work just fine. It's kinda hard when Anita and Julia damn near never interact. Hell, where does Anita even live? I thought she lived at Wildwind, but I guess I was wrong.

I'd love for Mateo (with Mark Consuelos in the role) to return with his children. Then Haley can come back later.

Letting go of the Santos family will one of McTavish's last things before death the Santos were the show for a while there, I didn't mind it but alot of people hated it.

I'm sorry to see Natalia Cigliuti go. Anita is a needed character, since she's Julia's only relative still on the show.

Actually that's the one thing that makes me at this news- hopefully Julia won't be far behind. Frankly, the only Santos kids I was ever invested in are (were) Maria & Mateo. I could give a rat's ass about Julia or Anita. I actually didn't mind Cigliuti- it's just that the Anita character is and always was dull as dishwater.

I liked Natalia at first and thought she had so much potential had she stayed with Bobby. What was the point of ending that marriage in favor of putting her with Aidan whom she had no chemistry with and that pairing went absolutely nowhere? She should have stayed with Bobby and the show should have focused on their history. When she and Bobby came on, they had some marital problems and she mentioned how she'd love to have kids one day. AMC should have made it impossible for her to have kids and then explore Bobby and Sam's connection. They still could have had Edmund and Maria have marital problems which would lead to Sam finding out he was Bobby's son and have Bobby want custody of him. Anita would be torn between supporting her husband and reuniting him with the child she knew she could never give him and between the sister she loved and lost once. Natalia was never really given a meaty story and thats why Anita flopped. There was no reason for her to bc she was popular in the mid 90s and was part of that great story with Kelsy, Edmund, Maria and Bobby.

Yep pretty much agree Cheap.... I never really got why McT brough them back because really really didn't write anything for either of them..... I guess because the babyswitch was just taking up so much airtime there was little room for anything else...
