The script writer wrote that line

RC just didnt bother to look over what his own writing staff but thats not like its... you know his JOB.

Im expecting Lucas to have moonlighted as a stripper back in Seatle and his mom who has been allegedly close to her and living in the same town never noticed that he never showed up for work at the hospital.

Rc wouldnt trip himself over something as silly as continuity to have Lucas half naked as often as he wants.

How much you willing to bet that moRon knows the profession and everything his creations are doing? Morgan didn't know Luke, Michael and himself are blood related. This is just something ridiculous in a long line of inconsistencies of the characters not created by The Revitalizers! We didn't have this problem prior to the current regime.

Steve Burton on why he left

TV Guide Magazine: Which is...?

Burton: What you and I both know — that GH didn't make a deal with me. And that's the whole truth. My contract was up and they didn't want to play ball and make it work. At the time, I didn't want to throw anyone under the bus over there but of course, as soon as it was announced I was going to Y&R, people thought the whole thing was planned by Jill from Day 1, which it was not. I vividly remember my manager telling me how ABC Business Affairs had called him to say, "Hey, is Steve going to Y&R now that Jill's over there?" And my manager said, "No, he wants to make a deal with you! Quit dragging your feet. Make a deal." But they wouldn't.

Technically, Ron didn't write the actual line about Lucas being a doctor, but if he didn't know, he's obviously not keeping a bible, and that's where his fault lies as a headwriter. His focus is 100% on desperately trying to save his favorite parts of the show that aren't working. He's not trying to write a cohesive, intricate show, with layered characters. He's trying to write the little fraction of the show he's interested in writing and the rest is just superfluous to him but necessary to fans.

But that makes him not at all different from every other soap head writer working in the business today.

Except he has a twitter and not so much self-control with the social media.

Not surprising! GH wanted Steve to walk to make room for Easton. Craptini canceled Ingo's return in favor of Howarth. Kanan goes w/out saying.

I agree completely! There are no LT story plans. GH is now an exercise of keeping pets onscreen as they keep up the guarantees of the long standing character (they don't give a sh!t about). We will continue to go in circles with the plots.

If RC's one saving grace is that he got SBu out the dooor then I will say thats one part of the show that was revitqalized.

Ive seen wet matches with more sparks than this so called actor.

Only to be replaced by a homeless looking wet match dipped in mud? I'd rather have SBu!

For which I am grateful. Ditching this guy was the best decision FV could have possibly made. His reign as the star of GH produced collapsing ratings. Now he and JFP have taken their act on the road to Y&R...to collapsing ratings.

Yes Jason ate GH but SBU wanted to be able to live in TN and fly in to do GH and they saud no. That is BS since FV did this all the time on OLTL. He worked around Tuc Watkins schedule who was based and working in LA at the time

In fact once they shot a 3 month story for his character in one week at OLTL. So its not like SBU was asking for stuff that FV hasnt given others

In fact I believe he wanted a 3 day work week/ FV coulda made that work. He didnt want to

However he will keep KA, ME & RH in roles that dont work until either thay quit on their own or the show is canned. Just watch

Steve Burton is no Olivier, but blaming him for GH's "collapsing ratings" is as absurd as blaming him for YR's "collapsing ratings.

Too many actors at GH have no more acting skill than Steve Burton. The good thing is that the cast is so bloated we won't see much of any one lousy actor.
