This is really sad. First he was attacked and now these rumors are all over the internet smearing him.

I think it’s possible that he was genuinely attacked, but that these Nigerian dudes (whom he knew) betrayed him. According to the Sun-Times, one of the guys was charged with attempted murder in 2011, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery, and got two years of probation and a fine. But who knows? We don’t have all of the facts yet. A lot of assumptions have been made based on hearsay from all angles, both from the left and the right.

^ I'm with you. It's not clear what happened, but I wish these media outlets hadn't put out that hoax story until the facts emerge.

We’ll see, but if you’re under investigation, it’s smart to get a lawyer, innocent or guilty.

Wow. This sounds crazy.

One thing that I’m only seeing a little talk about: there are federal criminal ramifications if the powder in the envelope sent to Jussie on the Empire set was staged.

I just don't understand why he would do it.  His statement didn't make sense though, I admit that.  The part where he said he would be believed if he weren't accusing white guys, but then the "suspects" are black men that he knew?  And he said he always knew it was them...what?😔 Fox seems to be denying that he was going to be written out, so I don't know.  This is all very odd.
