February 26, 201511 yr Member I couldn't believe she actually threw up. Thrilled about the ratings. Fox needed it a hit and they got one, although they don't deserve it after they f*cked over their AA audience years ago. I'm so confused I think I'm just gonna rewatch the episode because I can't follow this thread for ish regarding Rhonda and whether she did or didn't do anything with that nasty old guy. I pray she didn't but if she did then shame on her and shame on Andre. Much as I love my future husband that would be crossing the line for me.

She was drinking a lot and then the old man said something about how he can still get hard and she threw up in her salad. She didn't sleep with him because his wife voted against Andre being the interim CEO in the boardroom.
February 26, 201511 yr Member I haven't watched yet but how is Lucious gonna say [!@#$%^&*] about Andre marrying a white woman when he himself about to marry Anika, who is half white?
February 26, 201511 yr Member Didn't Dru say something to her at one point? I feel like at one point she called someone out for dating a white person. I found it realistic and not necessarily racist, unless noticing any difference is inherently racist. In general, I think some parents just see it as a rejection when a child picks someone they see as very different from themselves. Was this CK first run as Lily when Dru had this conversation. Because I haven't watch CK 2nd run.

It may have even been Dru talking to Malcolm about doing Phyllis. I just remember it because I was surprised that Y&R let something so honest and politically incorrect be said.

Then in the car she told Andre off for putting her in that position. She was pretty hurt. I'd say that played at least some small role in Andre's Russian roulette.
February 26, 201511 yr Member Okay now that makes a lot more sense. I might have to tone down the vino at these Empire watch parties for future reference lol.
February 26, 201511 yr Member I can get Rhonda not being attracted to Will Geer, but my thing is the whole "I don't want to be a whore" thing. Believe me, I wouldn't have hopped on Milburn Stone's junk either, but be real. Say that you're all about the game but aren't screwing an old man. Don't act as if you're suddenly above sleeping around for favors.
February 26, 201511 yr Member I love Hakeem and Cookie's mother/son chemistry. Even more than Jamal and Cookie because Hakeem has always yearned for his mother. We've come such a long way from the broom beatdown.
February 26, 201511 yr Member Where Cookie when Andre getting charted off? How do they manage to make this show so much better every week? Damn the hiatus! Fox needs to get this show back on the air ASAP!

Dru said that to Damon when he was bedding Phyllis and she found Phyl's underwear in Damon's sofa. Dru offered to find him a nice 'sistah' that worked at Jabot, but he insisted that she mind her business. That's when Dru started to dangle the secret over Phyllis' head. What a great story....
